“My wife and I have tried about a dozen BBQ places in the KC area and this is easily our favorite. The owner is an extremely nice person and we are never disappointed. Pulled pork is consistent and good, but the burnt ends, brisket, and ribs are to die for.”

“Dark and dingy. Little kids of the employees running around. There is a room in the back for the kids. I found that odd. Server messed up our order. Hard to hear her, she wouldn't walk around our table, rather stood at one end to take order. 2 hibachi meals were wrong when we got the food. We told her the 2 meals were wrong, she took their food back to have it fixed. Manager came out and said we were wrong. Food brought back out cold. Check brought out, server said those meals were comped, but made sure to add gratuity for terrible service and cold food. I looked thru reciept, meals were not comped. Asked server, she said she'd go talk to manager. Manager came back out to tell us she didn't comp the meals because we ordered wrong. Business of liars. Server blames Manager and cook, Manager blames us. Ridiculous. Drive the extra 20 mins to kansas city.”

“My first visit was VERY impressive! A quiet Sunday afternoon that eventually picked up. But the televisions were muted and on closed captioning, the background music was kept audible but not blasting like most places, and customers could actually carry on conversations! The bartender, Britan, was all over it! Super young lady! Outtanding experience - and I will definitely be back. I have found my place!”

“Best place for ice cream for those with food allergies & a sugar-free options. 3 of 4 my grandchildren are able to enjoy their meals here but gluten-free food items are needed. Our family has 1 w/dairy-free, 1 w/corn-free, 1 w/gluten-free allergies & 1 need the sugar-free. We usually have great friendly service & don't have to long of a wait.”

“Holy crap. They are not lying when they advertise as FREAKY fast!!! I placed my order online at 6:15 pm 6:24 my door bell rang! Husband and I looked at each other like no way!!! Sure enough it was out dinner!! I am in complete amazement by this!!!! Great job guys! And the food is amazing!”

“The manager here has been here for awhile, and she does a great job running the place. Today I went in and ordered my usual. I like my crinkle fries extra crispy. Laurn, a gorgeous young lady with beautiful black and blue braids, realized after she gave me my order that she'd given me the wrong fries. I honestly wouldn't have even noticed because my fries were pretty good. But she made a point to bring me the extra crispy ones to my table and apologized for the mix-up.

In today's world this level of service is above and beyond and is deserving of recognition.

“If I could rate more than 5 stars, I absolutely would! This was the best burger I’ve ever eaten from a sonic or really any fast food joint. Everything was cooked and fried to absolute perfection. The fries were perfectly salted and fresh. The bacon burger was INCREDIBLE. All of our food was 100% fresh and we didn’t wait for long either! The service was great and the greeter at the drive through (possibly Jerica? As that’s the name on our receipt) was so sweet, kind and fast. Everything about this visit to this location was just perfect and then some and I couldn’t not leave a review. My only complaint is that I tried to call the store and compliment them over the phone but the line was busy! Just wanted y’all to know y’all are great and we will be back to this location.”

“Usually great food, and we est here often. However, last week we were 100% dissatisfied! First, the entire meal was late, they had to substitute knots for garlic bread, waited forever and the calzone had literally one piece of meat about 1"x1.5" and what looked like a mozzarella stick for cheese. The meal was gross, late, over cooked and not what we ordered or paid for. So disappointed. Since it is a long drive we regularly make I doubt we will be returning. $34 meal wasted.”

They have a great price point, the only thing that would make them better is maybe if the staff was a little more friendly and interactive sometimes they seem drab and not happy to be there.”

“Fetterman's is a Platte City favorite of our family. The owners are good people with strong ties to the community. Products used are fresh and high quality. Anyone that has had a bad experience needs to understand it is not the norm. Sometimes mistakes are made. BTW their breakfast options are very good and well priced. I hate to let out the secret, but the biscuits and gravy are top notch. Get them while they last. They go fast.”

“Can’t say enough good things about this place. The food and beer was awesome- but what really took the cake was the service. The manager, Ashley, went above and beyond and interacted with our daughters. Showed them the kitchen, gave them stickers, and printed them their own personalized cartoon characters to color with while they waited. AND brought them out bowls of ice cream to decorate for dessert! What an awesome experience it was for us!”

“My son played a baseball ⚾️ tournament game in Leavenworth and we visited this restaurant for a yummy lunch after his game. My 14 y/o had the jerk chicken and I ordered the shrimp curry. My son let me have a taste of the chicken 🍗 and it was delicious. The sauce made u want to have a second bite, but then my son reminded me that I had my own lunch 🍤 to eat 😀 Really fresh ingredients and our meals hit the spot. We shared a slice of carrot cake 🍰 for dessert as that was literally the icing on the cake! Delicious! Support local! Support family owned! Support mom and pop! We shall be back 😊 This was our first time eating Jamaican 🇯🇲 food! Thanks Leavenworth for a great visit!”
