“I normally don't like places like this but the food was piping hot and incredible I was tired and irritated from a long days drive from Illinois all the way here and the waitress greeted us with love flavor was 1000/10 and if I ever come back to visit family will come here every time I'm in town hands down best sushi I've ever ate”

“With only a couple Mexican restaurants in the area, there’s really not a lot of choice. In this instance, you don’t have to settle. La Mesa is excellent Mexican cuisine and, with inflation being what it is, it’s a generously priced option.

With four adults, two kids, and four margaritas, we were just above $100 before tip. Try feeding six with drinks for that price anywhere else and you’ll find that it’s easier said than done.

Everything was great. Really not a lot to highlight because it was all very solid. For the sake of critique, I would say the frozen margaritas were the lowest point of the meal, but they were still good (just not GREAT).

Make a trip if you haven’t already because this stop is worth it.”

“Dark and dingy. Little kids of the employees running around. There is a room in the back for the kids. I found that odd. Server messed up our order. Hard to hear her, she wouldn't walk around our table, rather stood at one end to take order. 2 hibachi meals were wrong when we got the food. We told her the 2 meals were wrong, she took their food back to have it fixed. Manager came out and said we were wrong. Food brought back out cold. Check brought out, server said those meals were comped, but made sure to add gratuity for terrible service and cold food. I looked thru reciept, meals were not comped. Asked server, she said she'd go talk to manager. Manager came back out to tell us she didn't comp the meals because we ordered wrong. Business of liars. Server blames Manager and cook, Manager blames us. Ridiculous. Drive the extra 20 mins to kansas city.”

“I was in town ,filming a movie and I came to this location after. The lady there was ao professional and kind. I know it's fast food but everyone there handle the food with care. I was impressed that I came back again today. The one lady from yesterday remembered and still gave amazing service. Also including her co-workers. Everyone on both days were fantastic. This was the best taco john's I've ever been to.”

“My first visit was VERY impressive! A quiet Sunday afternoon that eventually picked up. But the televisions were muted and on closed captioning, the background music was kept audible but not blasting like most places, and customers could actually carry on conversations! The bartender, Britan, was all over it! Super young lady! Outtanding experience - and I will definitely be back. I have found my place!”

“Best place for ice cream for those with food allergies & a sugar-free options. 3 of 4 my grandchildren are able to enjoy their meals here but gluten-free food items are needed. Our family has 1 w/dairy-free, 1 w/corn-free, 1 w/gluten-free allergies & 1 need the sugar-free. We usually have great friendly service & don't have to long of a wait.”

“The manager here has been here for awhile, and she does a great job running the place. Today I went in and ordered my usual. I like my crinkle fries extra crispy. Laurn, a gorgeous young lady with beautiful black and blue braids, realized after she gave me my order that she'd given me the wrong fries. I honestly wouldn't have even noticed because my fries were pretty good. But she made a point to bring me the extra crispy ones to my table and apologized for the mix-up.

In today's world this level of service is above and beyond and is deserving of recognition.

“If I could rate more than 5 stars, I absolutely would! This was the best burger I’ve ever eaten from a sonic or really any fast food joint. Everything was cooked and fried to absolute perfection. The fries were perfectly salted and fresh. The bacon burger was INCREDIBLE. All of our food was 100% fresh and we didn’t wait for long either! The service was great and the greeter at the drive through (possibly Jerica? As that’s the name on our receipt) was so sweet, kind and fast. Everything about this visit to this location was just perfect and then some and I couldn’t not leave a review. My only complaint is that I tried to call the store and compliment them over the phone but the line was busy! Just wanted y’all to know y’all are great and we will be back to this location.”

“Usually great food, and we est here often. However, last week we were 100% dissatisfied! First, the entire meal was late, they had to substitute knots for garlic bread, waited forever and the calzone had literally one piece of meat about 1"x1.5" and what looked like a mozzarella stick for cheese. The meal was gross, late, over cooked and not what we ordered or paid for. So disappointed. Since it is a long drive we regularly make I doubt we will be returning. $34 meal wasted.”

“What a beautiful, lovely, local vineyard! It is amazing that we have a place like this in Kansas City. The wines were unique and delicious! We would highly recommend visiting or trying their wines! The Cloeta & Herbamont were favorites of mine!”

“Can’t say enough good things about this place. The food and beer was awesome- but what really took the cake was the service. The manager, Ashley, went above and beyond and interacted with our daughters. Showed them the kitchen, gave them stickers, and printed them their own personalized cartoon characters to color with while they waited. AND brought them out bowls of ice cream to decorate for dessert! What an awesome experience it was for us!”

“My cousin has been raving about this place the last 2 years. Finally stopped by and wish I would have went sooner. Food was amazing and I accidentally got unsweetened tea instead of sweet and they brought me out some sugar. Workers were absolutely amazing and care about their customers. Place was very clean. Definitely will be coming back for the nachos!”
