My now husband is a pretty loyal customer and has loved every flavor he’s had! Kate was very responsive to emails and great to work with! I can't promise it'll be breathtakingly presented or even something you couldn't see yourself making at home, but I can promise it'll be a filling meal, one with care put into every ingredient, and in a homey atmosphere that'll make conversation a cinch. It's a special experience I'd recommend to anyone once, and from there it's up to you to find out if you and the chefs mesh in preferences or if the company and knowledge you gain just from being their is worth the price of admission.But for sure buy some rum cake. You'd be a fool to skip it. And I didn't mention their house made rum itself, which I believe is available to buy. If you like a slow fire in your gut it's called something like Trademark Pending.“

“Beyond impressed! My boyfriend's favorite dessert is a key lime pie. He has a son that has a gluten and dairy allergy and his one request for his birthday this year was a key lime pie that he could share with his son. That was not an easy task to locate. Even though it is not something they offer on their menu, Mud Pie Bakery was willing to do a special order for a gluten free, dairy free key lime pie and I must say, we were blown away! It was delicious! The crust was delicious, the filling was tangy, and the whipped topping was sweet and balanced everything else out! Not only that, but it looked beautiful! The best part is that my boyfriend's son got to enjoy a sweet treat that the rest of the family was having and that is something that rarely happens, due to his dietary restrictions! “Over the past decade ive been eating at Daylight Donuts, i always had a problem with how much frosting they put on top. Its way too little. Sometimes you take a bite and you end up filling your mouth with dough.

Went back here a couple weeks ago and it was the same. The frosting is really good too, why not put more on there?

But aside from that, this restaurant has really friendly staff and decent atmosphere. Donuts are also really good despite the issue i already discussed. A good 4 stars. It mightve improved since our last visit, but i havent came back yet.“
