Upon reading the reviews I am disgusted at the way some of you entitled people are acting. “Always good...a Wichita landmark. Food and service are always excellent. So sad that the Douglas location is the only one left. I don't get to go as often now. I used to go to the Central one and then when it closed, the Harry one...I would also visit the other two on Ridge, and on Seneca when I went to bowling. But I rarely get down on Douglas.“

“Freddy Simon was an American hero and a local Kansas treasure. It's remarkable how fast Freddy's franchises have spread across the country. That said, it's not my favorite, but it's more about my personal preferences rather the quality. Some folks love smash burgers, I prefer thicker burgers. Some love the thin shoestring fries, I find them more difficult to eat, especially when on the go. Despite this, I still stop by occasionally and I'm never disappointed by the quality of the meal. The custard is always delicious and some of the seasonal concretes are exceptional. That's good enough that I will continue to patronize this great locally founded place.“

“Freddy’s is always a great stop for a quick meal. We were on a long road trip so came in for a burger.
The line to order was short. Mostly just employees buying food. We ate outside. The outside seating is about 4 tables.
There seemed to be a problem with the iced tea so a couple of employees were cleaning up that mess.
The hamburger was a little cold. I asked for extra onion and got none but they gave me some when I went in to ask.
The cheese curds are really good and always a favorite. I was going to order onion rings but I saw someone else had them and they looked very over cooked so I went with fries.
The fries here are the best when they are hot and fresh. It is definitely worth your time to try them.
The location is in a good place. Nearby shopping and easy to get to main roads.“

I asked if several non-sandwich items contained onions (due to an allergy). All I got was I don't knows. They admitted never having tried or being told about any of the items I asked about.“

I have been going here for more then twenty years. To come to find out. Why would this company only give their employees one week of vacation time for only 5, 10 years and more years of employee service. That was so apologing when I heard this. You need to do more for your employees in the number in years of service they have worked for company. Your employees friendly service and great food are what makes your company and customers come back and back to your busniess that pays your salary and employees.
I'm sure the corporate staff receive more days of then just a week. You really should think about giving more vacation time to years of service of employees. I have been told you treat employees good and they treat your company good.“

“5:45pm. restaurant was very busy. I ordered 3 burgers and fries. Some of the condiments on 2 of them were mixed up. The manager apologized and quickly made new burgers. and put in an order of fries for the inconvenience. I feel it was the proper way to handle the problem. Overall I am impressed. “Your typical 5 Guys restaurant/ atmosphere. That said, it isn't a negative thing. It's a pretty unique atmosphere that fosters an old timey feel as there's boxes of free all you can eat peanuts. The food is always cooked fresh right in front of you.
The staff here are always friendly, polite, attentive to the details of your order, and generally seem happy and to get along well with each other as there's usually some funny conversations happening. Overall, every single time I'm around, I always stop at this specific 5 Guys to grab a bit to eat.
Be it eating I side, outside on their patio area under an umbrella (which is really nice when the weather is good), or take out over never had a bad experience here. As is 5 Guys fry style, there is always PLENTY of fries to go around - even as a "little fry" order.
If you're looking for a really good burger with an authentic American feel/taste, I highly recommend you stop here. You won't regret it. I know I never do. ?“

“Its near hubby's work so its quick and cheap. However watch your receipts. My hubby gets their meal deal for 2.99 but they seem to always charge a different sales tax- the sales tax should never change. Not worth arguing over .25 cents but just an fyi.“

“My family likes to eat at Culvers. The menu is large with a lot of variety and the food is good. I enjoy their Cod but have trouble deciding what I want to order because there is so much to choose from. Culver’s is new to Wichita and is a very popular place to eat. Last weekend was so crowded and no available tables so we decided to come back another time.
