Washington needs a good HOMEMADE cafe even the bread was homemade. Only reason why it’s 4.9 stars is because hamburger was to brown and the potato salad was a little too oily for my comfort. “I worked at meadowlark for over a year and recently had to move back to my hometown. I just wanted to say that I enjoyed my time at meadowlark, and am proud to say that I used to work for them. I wish I could’ve picked up the facility and moved it all with me. No other facility can compete with the amount of attention and level of care that these residents receive. The households help it feel more like a home, and the staff is always kind and treat the residents with respect, and like they’re family. I work with a nurse at my new job who worked at meadowlark when he was in nursing school, and we’ve had so many good stories to share with each other and talk about how good of a facility meadowlark is. I miss so many staff members and residents dearly. I applaud you, meadowlark!!!“

“I’ll recommend it because the food was good. The service was terrible. Waited 10 minutes for a waitress to take our drink order then I received my appetizer before my drink. I had no silverware to eat said appetizer with. The waitress wasn’t friendly to add to the dissatisfaction. Maybe she just had a bad day, so I’ll go back. The caramel butter cake was to die for!“

“The employees I would like to recognize is the one with the blueish green in her hair and a younger taller kid w glasses on night crew, She has been there since it opened. Always very pleasant, and always busy. Every time we go there she always up and down the counter area but always make time to talk w customers. We went there for dinner one night and had a bad experience, food not right, ppl standing around, and the dining area wasnt very clean. A younger employee with glasses offered to fix our order and was very pleasant. There was a guy w a culvers hoodie on and another lady was there who had a baby and was behind the counter, then came back out w no baby and just joined in w the ppl just standing. I will continue to go there but def not at night“

“We went out on a Saturday night during dinner rush and our wait was less than 20 minutes. That was a plus with hungry children. The service was fast, friendly, and efficient and the steak was flavorful and melt-in-your-mouth tender. No shade on TX Road House, but the steak here, to me, is a step above.“

Despite the initial inconvenience of being seated at an undesirable table, I was willing to overlook it. However, the subsequent events were entirely unacceptable. After expressing my disappointment to the manager about the host's misleading information, I was shocked to be verbally abused by the same host at my workplace. This level of unprofessionalism and disrespect is completely unacceptable. I urge management to address this issue promptly and take appropriate action. Such behavior tarnishes the reputation of the establishment and creates a hostile environment for both customers and staff.“

“Kites is so good that if the wait was over a year, I'd still Wait— edit 12/5 as we approach the Christmas season I think back to what it was like to have family. Now all I know is the festive feeling of waiting. I just wanted to place a simple order for the buffalo wings. The only thing keeping me going is the carolers outside spreading Christmas cheer by singing loud for all to hear— edit 5/14 gone is my life. I’ve missed so many occasions with my family. My grandmother passed away and I missed new years with my wife. She doesn’t even look at me anymore. I sleep on Kite's door stop. The endless waiting for "Wing the dang day" buffalo wings has become my life. Why can't i order? Is a take out order such a burden that they must ruin a life? I won’t give up. I’ll keep waiting.“
