“This dfac is clean, has good food and a decent selection of snacks and drinks (bottled or fountain).During the covid era, the dfac has coasters on the tables (kind of akin to Texas de Brazil steakhouses) that have green thumbs up graphics signifying the table is sanitized and ready to use, and red X's on the back, signifying the table has been used and needs cleaning.“

“Redrock Canyon Grill last night for a birthday dinner. There was double booking on our reservation that we placed a week ago, and we got the short end of the stick. Poor communication aside though, here's how dinner went. We ordered the spinach artichoke dip as an appetizer, and when it came out, the plate had like 6 chips on it. Seemed pretty steep for the price ($15), but we asked for more chips and they brought out an entire plate more for free. It came with the dip, as well as a small cup of salsa. Both tasted great! Extra chips made up for the perceived lack of portion size. For a main course, I got the 10oz Filet with mashed potatoes, and "something green" (green beans). The Filet was excellently prepared at requested "medium", with a ton of flavor! It was a stark contrast to what we got at Salt**ass. Tender, juicy, and well seasoned, with a nice crust! Sizes came in 6oz(?), 10oz, and 14oz. Easily the best steak I've had at a restaurant. I wish I would've gotten the 14oz, but not because I was still hungry....I just didn't want to good time to end. 🥴 Next up was the mashed potatoes.....and ho-lee-sht. Creamy, full of flavor! I could be wrong, but i felt like I tasted onions in them? I dont really know what's in them for sure, but i feel like I need to create a Redrock Anonymous group to deal with the withdraw I will be battling, until we inevitably go back. Green beans were also excellent. Not a lot to go over in specifics, but they were awesome, and the perfect companion to the rest of the culinary masterpieces on my plate. Our waitress was super attentive, and quick to refill drinks before they were empty. Very knowledgeable in specials and pricing, and overall a great communicator. This was literally the best meal I've had out at a restaurant, period, and Redrock is likely going to be our go-to for celebrations, and date night's from now on. I got the lemon chicken picatta and I’m not lying when i say it was one of the best meals/pastas i have had in a while . “I don't know why anyone would choose a fast food hamburger when you can have a Louis! I enjoy the crowd that comes. Everyone is friendly and treats you like a Rose Hill neighbor they haven't met yet. Very nice.

“Kaylyn is always so sweet and attentive, always ask me how I am doing, even if I do not sit at one of her tables. The girls at Twin Peaks all act like they are sisters/best friends. Their close friendships with each other and team spirit always puts me in a great mood. U.V., Taylor, Mati, Sav and so many others go out of their way to help. I am a busy insurance agent and I do lots of my work from the Twin Peaks table, in between appointments. It works out great for me.“

“I have been staying at the Hyatt on a regular basis for over 10 years. The Harvest Kitchen and Bar is excellent. I have eaten here for breakfast, lunch, dinner probably over 100 times. I have yet to anything less than an excellent meal. This is one of those restaurants that's probably a "sleeper" in the town, but if you're from here you should give it a shot. And if you're staying the night here you really don't need to go out and find something other than "hotel" food.“

“This small recently-reworked hotel restaurant boasts many American and Italian favorites, including some soul foods, many types of chicken, and classy burgers. I tried the Bourbon BBQ Bacon cheeseburger with a side of french fries. I received my order much faster than I expected to, as several Indian students were keeping the wait staff very busy moving back and forth to the kitchen carrying loads of traditional cuisine. Bearing what was probably nearly a ½ lb tender burger patty cooked to a juicy medium just north of medium-rare, the sandwich was finished out inside of its large sesame seed bun by crispy bacon and melted cheddar over a smoky bourbon sauce. The french fries appeared a bit lighter than golden, but were crisped to a perfect texture and seasoned with a novel and slightly spicy taste that complemented the burger well. The ensemble was finished by a dill spear. As for the service, the staff were attentive and friendly. They were highly excited to share samples of some of their traditional Indian foods with me, all of them well prepared and extraordinarily tasty. The "batter balls" with a peanut curry sauce were especially nice, as was the "dassa[sp?]" with a tangy curried dipping soup and more of the peanut curry sauce. A surprising finishing touch was then served, called "igli[sp?]" and it had a marvelously delicate flavor and light texture due to its being prepared with no cooking oil. I certainly recommend this recent startup restaurant on the first floor of the Wyndham Garden hotel in downtown Wichita Kansas. I will definitely be coming again!

“His name is Tristan, he is our server almost every time we go to Applebees in derby. I swear this guy is the best we’ve ever encountered from any restaurant we’ve been to. He makes it a 5 star experience every time we go. I keep meaning to leave a review about him and keep forgetting. Next time you go ask to be in his section and you will not be disappointed. “I use to love the place at Douglas and Hydraulic but due to current situation and Sunday's service we will no longer be back. I'm sorry I loved the friendly environment and service we got but things change so it is time to move on. “It was a little hectic, and on waiting and communication on the staff was a little off. Once we got seated, though, the waiter was very nice and friendly. Very attentive and very helpful. “Waiter was great. Food is always good. We love the duck wontons. My vegetarian enchiladas are always a good choice. My husband loved his lamb burger although he mentioned there was a little too much cheese on it. My sister had the pork chops which were seasoned and cooked perfectly. The carrots and mashed potatoes were the perfect sides. My brother in law had the fajita bowl and loved it. The carrot cake was so good ending the meal perfectly. The whole experience is why this is my go-to restaurant.“

“The hashbrowns were my favorite part. They were so buttery and good. The sausage links tasted fresh and good.
The restaurant though was dirty and extremely crowded/cramped. Definitely not wheelchair friendly. Could barely walk in the aisles unless we were facing sideways.

“When we travel we usually only have the hotel booked, food is basically whatever is available wherever we are. We really rely on ratings given by others, so we do our part to share honestly. Well, we can honestly say this bbq was really worth the stop. We had the sliced brisket and the loaded backed potato, and both were delicious. For our sides we had the potato salad and baked beans. The beans were some of the best I've ever had. They were loaded with chunks of brisket and brown sugar. The pit master GAVE us 4 bbq smoked wings to sample and the ladies at the counter were very friendly. If you are wondering if you should try it, start that car and make your way there.“

“So this is one of my wife's favorite breakfast places. She loves the ultimate skillet, and I'm not going to lie, I've used Village Inn rather than roses to get through moments of friction in our relationship... (which were always my fault).

I'm more of a greasy spoon breakfast kind of guy, but when it comes to chain restaurants, Village Inn stands out above the rest. Their facilities are clean, their staff is kind, their food is consistent, and I can always count on a smile.

If you're a greasy spoon guy like me, don't count out a great breakfast at Village Inn! It'll rival your favorite hole in the wall, and you may find that it gets you out of a marital jam once in a while too.“
