“Discovered Metro Bistro several years ago. I’m from Topeka & come to Andover/Wichita frequently & Metro Bistro has become a favorite! Their service is friendly & efficient, the chef is amazing & dishes are different than any other restaurant. Love the music & unique atmosphere. Highly recommend! 5 Stars for sure! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“We enjoyed a lovely evening at The Greens for our car club Christmas. We reserved a room for 30+ people, had a few servers (Calvin was amazing) who did a fantastic job with drinks, food orders, and making sure we had an enjoyable time. We created a short menu which they printed out to assist with meal options. The Greens has a great bar, dining area, and extra banquet halls, in additional to the gold course. Thank you.“

“My sister and I had a fabulous dinner at First Mile Kitchen after a long day on the road. She did a restaurant search and this one popped up as Locally Sourced food. Our server Liz was delightful and brought us a complimentary basket of sourdough bread when she learned that we had traveled from Minneapolis that day. I ordered the Salmon salad which had all my favorite things- beets, asparagus, goat cheese and a freshly grilled filet of salmon! My sister had the Chicken Caesar Salad- freshly grilled, buttermilk coated chicken, tasty croutons and Parmesan cheese. We forgot to take photos, but we did have leftovers to eat the next evening when we arrived home. If you’re looking for quality dining, this is the place. We will definitely return when traveling through Wichita.“

“Traveling back to Texas from vacay in CO through Kansas. 1st time in KS so had to try the BBQ. We tried brisket, ribs, hot link, turkey, and chicken wings. Brisket was tender with good flavor. Ribs were fall off the bone yummy. Hot links were spot on and the turkey was tender and flavorful too. My middle had the chicken wings devoured in a matter of minutes. Fried okra was the best I’ve had. Potato salad and mac were good. Not a baked beans fan but they were very good too. Scalloped potatoes were awesome. Tried all 3 cobblers. Damn! They were all outstanding! All in all it was awesome BBQ! I’ve eaten BBQ all over the south. Gonna have to say KS is a strong 2nd to Texas.“

“We called ahead of time as we had a large party of 9. When we arrived at the time we originally told them, we had to wait about 10 minutes for our tables to be set up. I was under the impression that was the point of calling ahead since they weren't on a wait or busy at all at that point. My mom struggled with the short wait as she is handicapped and on oxygen so standing for awhile is more than just a small inconvenience for her.

We were sat right next to the bathroom and smelled the bathrooms the entire visit which was not fun.

Our server, Diana, was absolutely incredible! Her service was flawless and we appreciate her.

The blonde female manager on the other hand could use a lesson in customer service. She ran food to our table and as we said thank you or acknowledged her, she snarled her nose and left the table without a response. She passed our table more than once but never acknowledged us. It just didn't feel welcoming.“

“It's been a few years since I have dined at a village inn. Our family does try get their French Silk pie for the holidays though. I went to this location for lunch and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the restaurant. The updated decor was nice, the restaurant was spotless almost like it was brand new. The staff was energetic, kind, and genuinely seemed happy to be there. Besides offering great service to me I saw how they interacted with other guests and the staff treated you like family.

The food is diner fare but they had a special pork chili soup that tasted like a grandmother made it! It was probably one of the best soups I've ever had! Of course the pie for dessert was amazing too and took me back to my childhood.

If you're looking for a good breakfast or lunch I would highly recommend this place!“

“We had our Thanksgiving family dinner, a party of 14, here. The service was wonderful! We had the choice of the Turkey dinner special or something off the menu. The turkey slices were nice, thick, and juicy. The stuffing is not something we cared for. The ones that chose off the menu had a wonderful meal. The beef tips across from me did look delicious! Now... the pumpkin cheesecake was absolutely delectable! The atmosphere was nice. The tables are spaced nicely and not too close. We had two gift cards with two free $10 cards for a next visit (that were unfortunately left behind). We will definitely return again.“

“Friendly staff great food fair price“

“at around 11pm on 11/30/23 my daughter and son in law ubered to this location (in preparation to not drive home if they has alcoholic beverages) upon entering the established they were refused service while patrons who were actively being served laughed and said "sucks to be you N****r!" the staff then began to laugh and did not reprimand the patron or try to fix the situation by offering service. My daughter paid to get to this establishment only to be met with racism by both staff and patrons. I am absolutely disgusting and heartbroken that they had to deal with this type of embarrassment and hurtful behavior. I will also be contact the GM of this location as well as going as high up in the management chain as need be. I am a retail GM and have been in retail & restaurant management most of my adult life and would never allow this type of behavior in any establishment I run. DISGUSTING!!!“

“Ben Shultz is not only a sharp dressed man but a terrific host. With the VIP service came one of the best meals my wife and I have had. The recommended wine was perfect and service was spot on. “Flying through Atlanta airport, I always bought Charley’s! Excited to see it in the mall. So had to try it! It did not disappoint. Staff was friendly. It was made fresh and to order. Ultimate fries are the way to go! Love the Buffalo chicken. Taste was great. Would definitely return. Keep up the great work guys!
