“Stopped in on a Saturday evening on the way through town, while both Kansas football teams were playing. Place was about 3/4 full. Were seated and served drinks right away, ordered 5 meals, ate, and was back out the door in 30 minutes. Drinks were always re-filled without asking, and chicken fried steak was really good and huge! We also had the buffalo chicken Mac and cheese, and a chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. You will definitely not leave here hungry. This was the 2nd time I’ve been here, and have had great service both times.“
“Traveling through we needed a sit down place that could possibly cater to our daughter's gluten allergies as she has Celiac Disease. They came through astoundingly! Bekah was our waitress and while she admitted to not being knowledgeable on gluten she happily got the manager. Both the manager, Laynie and Bekah came back to our table. Laynie explained that they could absolutely accommodate our needs. She knew exactly what needed to be done (changing of gloves, new utensils, cleaning griddle, etc.).In addition, service was prompt, food was great, and everyone there was extremely friendly! A great place to check out whether you are local to El Dorado or just making a stop while traveling through. I hope we have the opportunity to stop here again!Dietary restrictions: The Manager, Laynie gladly worked with our gluten allergy and was very knowledgeable about what to do! The waitress, Bekah, even appreciated that we were able to educate her on gluten allergies and different items that contain gluten for future customers that come in.“
“Just moved to Augusta and had to give Miller 5 a try. As we were trying to decide what to order, the lady that helped us at the window, was very insightful and gave us a run down of the menu. Truly a sweet lady! We ordered 2 cheeseburgers w/ fries, a pizza burger, and 2 limeades and everything turned out amazing. This place is a gem within Augusta! We'll be back again in the near future!“
“This place is really cool and rural America, a.k.a. Augusta, Kansas.Think of the movie pulp fiction and the diner in that movie called Jack rabbit slims . With that in mind this place remind you of it he doesn’t have a big dance stage, but it does have a really eclectic and cool feel to it.This place has an ample number of tables and booths, which happen to have white vinyl over them, which make it feel like some kind of 1957 Chevy.From what I could see that even have out rental rooms for events and this place really has a cool vibe and you should do that.The menu is just right on price and size. There’s not too many items but there’s plenty to give you a wide selection. A couple of us in our group had the taco salad, which really was very nice for taco salad.If you’re in Augusta, Kansas, and you want a cool place with a great feeling friendly people and good food this is definitely the place to go.The sign outside says world, famous, and this thing could be franchise so someday it might be.“
“The burgers were as good as homemade. A good selection of food was offered on the menu. The lady that took our order was very friendly and informative. We ate in their outdoor area. It was clean and nice. There were bubble makers and sidewalk chalk for children to entertain them. We live in Wichita and we will be returning customers.“
