“Veggie Samosas alone will keep me coming back!I tried this place for the first time and I was very pleased with my meal. I had the spicy rice, chicken 65 and Dal. Everything was spicy and so good. The Samosas had a kick too but like I said those alone will keep me coming back, they were perfect! I also tried the Mango Lassi which was perfect to calm the heat of my meal.“

“One of the few Indian buffets currently open so I checked it out and wasn't disappointed. The food was flavorful and the Tandoori chicken wasn't dry at all like it is too many places. I'll spread the word and be back.“

“I like all of their food, especially vegetable samosa, chicken tikka masala, vegetable korma, all of their beef and chicken dishes, nan (flat bread), and tamarind chutney. Oh yes, and their chai is delicious. My wife and I take half of our food home because we can't eat it all.“

“Ranked #1 new restaurant in KC meant I had to try it and they did not disappoint. The menu rotates seasonally and is full of shareable plates that give you a taste of a world beyond KC. From the Spring menu, the four of us tried the Chips and Lamb Dip (very tasty and great start to the meal), Pav Bhaji (could make this my go-to comfort food), Pork Chop (the most flavor I’ve ever experienced), and Roasted Chicken (a classic executed perfectly, shout out to those pickles) with a variety of cocktails. Every plate and every sip was cohesive. We walked away full. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The restaurant was cozy, dimly lit, natural decor, super clean, and provided an escape from the outside. Restrooms were easily accessible and clean. We were fortunate to meet the owner and head chef - she is incredible! Can’t wait to come back!“

“It's a little late review but i had to write since the food was so good!.. we were there the other day.. Ordered butter chicken, chicken biryani and naan. It came with this amazing chutney. Everything was really good. So far the best food i had compared to all other Indian restaurants in Kansas. Biryani was spot on! Great flavors not too spicy so my 8yr old and 6yr old enjoyed it too. We all loved the food and can't wait to go back and try other dishes. We even got complementary chai with our meals. Owner is really nice, we got to chat with her and her son. It was amazing experience overall!!“

“If you are looking to taste authentic south indian food or have missed south indian food for a while, Chettinad is the place to go to.
Both the veg and non veg meals were amazing. Our kids also tried Butter Paneer, Butter Naan and Kothu Parotta. Every single item in the meals, were cooked to perfection. Starting from Dhal to Puli Kuzhambu, Rasam, etc everything was excellent. The service was also great. Since the meals need to be served to every table for every course, its not as easy as how the other restaurants serve the ordered ala carte menu and be done with a table. They are constantly checking every table and trying their level best to give every customer a great experience.
And the filter coffee and the paruppu payasam was top notch.
Overall I highly recommend Chettinad to anyone who loves food.“
