“The food was perfect. Chicken Marsala and butter chicken. Served in very nice dishes and was a substantial dinner portion. My husband just loves it when the place caters at his work and introduced me to the best Indian food I've had in a long time. Excellent chai. Very tentative and kind service. We will be back. ??“
“Veggie Samosas alone will keep me coming back!I tried this place for the first time and I was very pleased with my meal. I had the spicy rice, chicken 65 and Dal. Everything was spicy and so good. The Samosas had a kick too but like I said those alone will keep me coming back, they were perfect! I also tried the Mango Lassi which was perfect to calm the heat of my meal.“
“After trying this place recently I have been back mutliple times. Nearly every menu item I tried was outstanding. It's hard to find their menu online, as their website apparently has virus or malware issues, and they are not particularly active with updates on social media. Everyone with whom I have interacted, including the owner, has been warm, inviting and appreciative of guests. I have always enjoyed my experiences. As someone who loves great cocktails, I did have a mixed experience. This is admittedly my own pet peeve, but I am not fan of cutesy drink names. I like an Old Fashioned to just be called that. It was a great drink though. The "Nanhattan" was also delicious, though I would maintain that it too was an Old Fashioned, as banana liqueur is more a replacement of simple syrup than of sweet vermouth. The "Dark Side of the Moon" cocktail on the other hand was a huge miss, being sickeningly sweet. I also noticed they charge $32 for a 1 oz pour of Blanton's bourbon (which I have seen priced from $18 to $30 for a 2 oz pour at other restaurants around the metro). Hopefully over time they will fill out the bar shelves, which are currently very sparse, with more options. The food presentation has been inconsistent. The first time I tried a short rib (no longer available) it was absolutely perfect. The next time I had it, the crispy herb leaf was missing. It's a small detail but it was such a fun, tasty addition the first time. Similarly, the aloo chaat, which is even described on the menu as featuring smashed fingerling potato, was absolutely delicious the first times I had it, but on a later visit the potatoes were served unsmahsed. This completely altered the texture and was not at all enjoyable. My wife was a bit bummed out by the very sad-faced leopard behind the bar. Despite my commenting on some negatives, I actually love this place and suggest that everyone give it multiple visits.“
“We ended up on a iftar party and got worried if we will get place to sit with two little kids. The staff was very quick n got us place in 10 mins. The food was very good n flavorful unlike most of Indian places that pour heavy cream into everything. Veg biryani, chicken biryani and the kababs were amazing. My go to place whenever we will go KC. I was scared of reviews but they proved wrong. I am bored if typical Indian places but this stood out that day.“
“It's a little late review but i had to write since the food was so good!.. we were there the other day.. Ordered butter chicken, chicken biryani and naan. It came with this amazing chutney. Everything was really good. So far the best food i had compared to all other Indian restaurants in Kansas. Biryani was spot on! Great flavors not too spicy so my 8yr old and 6yr old enjoyed it too. We all loved the food and can't wait to go back and try other dishes. We even got complementary chai with our meals. Owner is really nice, we got to chat with her and her son. It was amazing experience overall!!“
“The 2 times I have gone me and my husband always enjoy it and the people there are so nice and friendly plus the food is to die for like is very very good I cry once just because I was so full and I wanted to eat more ❤️so I end up taking it to go but oh my good i love this place a lot ,thank you for everything ❤️“
“I like all of their food, especially vegetable samosa, chicken tikka masala, vegetable korma, all of their beef and chicken dishes, nan (flat bread), and tamarind chutney. Oh yes, and their chai is delicious. My wife and I take half of our food home because we can't eat it all.“
“A decently-sized lunch buffet for a weekday. The buffet even included some sambal and idlis which were alright. The curries, naan, biriyani, and mango lassi were good. The desserts on the other hand were decent although only vanilla ice cream was offered.“
“The food was delicious - I especially enjoyed the 5-lentils with veggies. There's an option to pick entrees and types of rice, different kinds of Naan, etc.. A wide variety of selections, fast and fresh, more like a quick food place, but there are several tables for dine-in, with a fake fireplace and nice Indian music videos playing. My only complaint is wish they had real plates, glasses, and silverware for dine-in instead of just plastic/paper and drinks in bottles.“
“I stopped my truck in a truck stop almost 19 miles away from this restaurant I called them and requested them to send me food to truck stop where I am stopped, I was very hungry they sent me chicken and lamb karayee it was very delicious, naan was also delicious, I am thankful to this restaurant person as well as encouraging everyone to test this restaurant food you will enjoy it.“
“Went for a late lunch on Sunday. Staff was very attentive. Showed us photos on their phone of new items on the menu.We ended up with the saffron chicken, parmesan Naan (the best), Dahi paneer and the assam tea. They will cater to your desired spice level.Food was excellent. Highly recommend.“
