“This place isn't my favorite, but in a small town you get what is open if you don't want to travel. I usually almost always order the same thing. A Molcajete to-go. It's usually ok but overpriced. As of April 24 2021 it was on the menu for $13.00 and now it's $20.00 We'll anyway they always mess my order up nearly every time, the last thing I ordered was last week I ordered the Molcajete, it is flavorful dish that is made with a variety of ingredients, including beef, pork, chicken, chorizo, vegetables, including Nopales, and variety of spices. The dish is served in a molcajete, which is a volcanic stone bowl that is used to grind and mix the ingredients together. It's a delicious meal if made with care and the correct ingredients; but every time I order, They never put the cactus fruit aka (nopales) in or the chorizo which it says is included in the menu. Also, the last time I asked for some Verde salsa with my chips (which is always included there, it's considered condiment jist like how chips and salsa are included... but theychargede me over $2 after I already paid for my order. and there is no menu item or anything saying there is a charge for a tiny side of salsa verde and thats one of the main flavorings in a molcajete.... That is ridiculous and sad.... and they should be ashamed of themselves. I highly doubt I will ever go back again, unless I'm that desperate....”

“Luxury doughnuts and sourdough bread! The cookies are the best I've had in Kansas and she makes a blueberry pancake cinnamon roll! I've also bought eggs from her that were only 4 dollars when everyone else was charging an arm and a leg 😅 Brooke is so flexible with my pick up orders and one time when I was sick she sent my mom home with a ton of extra goodies. The baked goods, packaging, everything matches the vibe of small town chic at the lake!”

“When traveling we like to try restaurants with home cooking. We hit the jackpot with this gem. i had the fried fish and my husband had a 10oz pork loin sandwich—something they don’t seem to have in Texas. They also have a cool train track hanging from the ceiling.The staff was friendly and the service was great! I highly recommend this restaurant 😊”

“I haven’t eaten at sonic in Osawatomie for a long time. But since the new manager took over they are BACK!!! I have eaten there twice now and the food was good the wait time is speedy the service was amazing! Thank you for the overhaul, and saving me a trip to Paola! 5 Stars ⭐️”

They had my order ready when I got there about 15 minutes later. Once I got back, everyone loved the food! I've never eaten here, so this was such a pleasant surprise!”

“Yesterday I went for a fish sandwich, and my fish sandwich was a substitute for the regular fish you use, I was very, very disappointed, makes for less visits when you try to pull a fast one. It was a piece of fish from the frozen food section at a local store, maybe equivalent to fish a sticks... Arby's please don't make your store look bad, and go on the negative list. I love a good roast beef sandwich, but was not a red meat day for me.. may not order a fish sandwich again, shame cause your authentic fish Sammy is the bomb diggity!! 🤔😉 just saying.”

“One of the few applebees left in KC metro area. Food is good, warm, and most of the time fresh. Not sure how the area is but I surely did feel weird or uncomfortable dinning in. The white people there stared and gave me and my girl looks. Haven't felt racism in the air in a while like that, definitely will keep getting my food to go. Seems clean from a glance.”

“Each time we've been, the employees are friendly and working hard. Sometimes 2 people will be working running around making sure everyone is being served. It is a bit of a wait but they are doing the best they can and still serve you with a good attitude!”
