As always, it was great to return to Story, this time to celebrate my mom‘s birthday. In season produce, great wine selection, delicious food and pleasant staff. Always a win at Story!
My wife's short rib was very fatty and she could only eat about half of it. Said something to water, but he did nor really even acknowledge her comment.
Story Restaurant is widely regarded as a top dining destination, known for its delicious ravioli starter, excellent halibut, salmon, green salads, saffron risotto, and lobster tagliatelle. The desserts, particularly the lemon cake with honey ice cream, are exceptional. The staff is friendly and accommodating of dietary restrictions, with many going out of their way to greet guests. The restaurant offers wonderful outdoor seating that is great in the summer. However, the interior can initially have a strong scent and may become noisy. Located in Johnson County, KS, it has become a favorite for many. Recent reviews praise the consistently excellent service and delicious meals. Highlights include the Heirloom salad, Campo Lindo chicken breast, and wonderfully plated and flavorful salmon dish. Guests also enjoyed the fabulous bread pudding with peanut butter ice cream and donuts. Story Restaurant is often chosen for special events, making it a memorable dining experience for all.
