The balance of flavors was spot-on, with the perfect amount of sauce, cheese, and toppings that all worked together beautifully. Honestly, it’s the bomb—there’s no better way to describe it! The rest of the menu looked fantastic as well, and everything we saw coming out of the kitchen made us want to order even more. But what stood out the most was how everything, from the food to the service, felt like it was prepared with care and attention to detail. The atmosphere at Old Chicago is warm and welcoming, making it a great place to unwind and enjoy a meal with family or friends. Whether you’re there for a quick bite, a celebration, or just a casual night out, it’s the perfect spot. I can’t recommend Old Chicago in Salina enough. “What a hidden gem. Found this place as the best pizza in SALINA. Called and ordered it Togo driving into town. The bartender had my order ready and had all the toppings possible. The bar patrons could see I wasn’t from the area and OMG they were so Nice. The pizza, wow. Thin crust and you can definitely taste the wood fired flavor. The homemade sausage was legit. The manager there she is ridiculously rude and the pizzas are always made wrong when she's working. then when you ask her to correct it she gets an attitude and tells you to get out or she'll call the cops. terrible service terrible pizza. she has a personal problem with me because I have a problem with accepting pizzas that are wrong. she literally admitted it. “This branch of Papa Murphy's is always clean, fast and efficient. My goto when as a couple is the thin crust and the cheese sticks. Always good. If its just me, I like the stuffed pizza meat lovers. Very tasty but one slice is usually enough to fill a person up.“

Hope they can keep the area clean and do whatever else is necessary so they don't come back.As far as the staff not wanting to be there, they were definitely pretty laid back (partly cause they weren't busy) but one lady was very kind and willing to help with anything we needed.The Stromboli was absolutely delicious.“
