“I stopped by this little rural Sonic Drive-In and honestly… I think I just experienced the friendliest fast food moment of my life 😂

First off, The absolute ray of sunshine who took my order. This young lady was so cheerful I half expected her to break into a musical number while reading back my order. I ordered a burger and somehow ended up with a better mood too.

When she brought the food out, she didn’t just hand it over and disappear like a fast food ninja—nope. She checked if I needed anything else, smiled like she actually meant it, and somehow made me feel like I was the VIP of Stall #18. In a world of “yeah, whatever” customer service, she was a full-on “you matter and also enjoy those tater tots” experience.

Food was hot, fresh, and exactly what I needed—but honestly, I’d come back just for the service. Give that girl a raise, a promotion, and maybe her own motivational podcast because she’s out here restoring faith in humanity one cheeseburger at a time.

10/10 would happily park, order, and be emotionally uplifted again.“

“This gem in Gardner is family owned and a must if you’re in the area. The hamburgers are pressed and cooked fresh to order, good portions and fast service. Hand scooped ice cream and many other cold treats available. 10 stars.“

“I love Freddies just hoping tonight was just a one time experience….Slow slow slow through drive through…I was 3rd car in line. Almost 25mn wait and fries were cold!! Disappointing!! Usually a favorite!! Burger was just okay as well!! 🤨“

“In the past, my husband and I have totally enjoyed our steak and bbq ribs. This time we ordered from the pick two menu. The Cajun chicken Philly was bland. That was a disappointment. Even my husband's burger was too plain. We won't quit you, but please make those certain items better.“

“First time this location. Late lunch on a day of travel. Ate inside. Counter staff and wait staff were friendly. Food was well prepared and freshly cooked. Tables and self service area were well kept and clean. Will stop here again in the future when traveling I-35.“

“This is my favorite fast food restaurant. I don't consider it fast food it is elevated for sure. I have never had a bad meal here ever. I have had the burgers, chicken(sandwiches and tenders), fish and or course the custard. Everything is fantastic. Also cheese curds get special mention because they are a delight.“

“They accommodated a very large group of 38 people and it went pretty smooth, they handled it well considering it was a bunch of dads and 3rd grade daughters having dinner before a daddy-daughter dance night out. Tim was the manager with whom I kept in contact with and met at the restaurant, the way he handle the whole everything was just phenomenal. Kudos to him! 🤜🏻🤛🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻“

“I didn't take pics because I ate the food so fast. So delicious! A friend and I split two meals. The French dip and the Smokehouse sandwich with sweet potato fries and the western fries. 10/10!!!!! Portions and pricing spot on. Sat on the patio. TVs outside and tons inside!!! Great sport watching setup indoors as well! Service was fantastic. We're from out of town and when in the area, will 💯 visit again“

“The chicken fried chicken was very good - the chicken was tender and the breading was crispy and delicious. I swapped the corn for fresh green beans with bacon. The garlic mashed potatoes and gravy complimented the chicken. The servers were around several times to make sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was lively, but it was loud.“

“Their drive thru lines seem to go extremely slow. They go through the inside lane of about 5 cars per 1 car in the outside lane. This sucks 30 minutes in line and 4 cars that came after me already have ordered.“
