“Love their food, especially the fries! I recommend to friends/family all the time. Went there today and got a bacon cheeseburger (with fires of course). Awesome food and great service. I get home and started to balance my checking account when I noticed that my receipt in my hand doesn't match the total that is being taken out of my account. I call and ask for a manager and state my concern. She said, "Oh, if you pay with a credit card the machine automatically charges extra for the use of the card." I said, it is not a credit card it is a debit card. It works the same as if I wrote you a check and comes directly out of my account. Sure, it wasn't much, but IF I EVER COME BACK, please consider the up-charge as your tip.“

“Panda Kitchen is a decent Chinese restaurant. It has good food, great staff, and reasonable prices. The food is slightly better than what you get at most Chinese takeout places in Wichita, although it is still mostly average in terms of taste.“

“This place has been around for forever, for good reason. Get the pho, it's super delicious and I can actually finish the regular size, which is nice! Crab rangoons are really good as well, nice and crispy. They also have really good Thai tea!“

“Redrock Canyon Grill last night for a birthday dinner. There was double booking on our reservation that we placed a week ago, and we got the short end of the stick. Poor communication aside though, here's how dinner went. We ordered the spinach artichoke dip as an appetizer, and when it came out, the plate had like 6 chips on it. Seemed pretty steep for the price ($15), but we asked for more chips and they brought out an entire plate more for free. It came with the dip, as well as a small cup of salsa. Both tasted great! Extra chips made up for the perceived lack of portion size. For a main course, I got the 10oz Filet with mashed potatoes, and "something green" (green beans). The Filet was excellently prepared at requested "medium", with a ton of flavor! It was a stark contrast to what we got at Salt**ass. Tender, juicy, and well seasoned, with a nice crust! Sizes came in 6oz(?), 10oz, and 14oz. Easily the best steak I've had at a restaurant. I wish I would've gotten the 14oz, but not because I was still hungry....I just didn't want to good time to end. 🥴 Next up was the mashed potatoes.....and ho-lee-sht. Creamy, full of flavor! I could be wrong, but i felt like I tasted onions in them? I dont really know what's in them for sure, but i feel like I need to create a Redrock Anonymous group to deal with the withdraw I will be battling, until we inevitably go back. Green beans were also excellent. Not a lot to go over in specifics, but they were awesome, and the perfect companion to the rest of the culinary masterpieces on my plate. Our waitress was super attentive, and quick to refill drinks before they were empty. Very knowledgeable in specials and pricing, and overall a great communicator. This was literally the best meal I've had out at a restaurant, period, and Redrock is likely going to be our go-to for celebrations, and date night's from now on. If you haven't been, you've gotta go! Food: 10/10 Value: 9/10 Service: 9/10 Atmosphere: 9/10“

“Krua Thai is a great restaurant tucked into a strip mall on 21st near Ridge Road. They have a very nice atmosphere inside. Good decorations, peaceful music. I am a big fan of their Panang Curry. They will make it Thai Hot for you if you want, but if you just like heat as a flavor then level 3 or 4 will probably be enough. Definitely worth a try if you like Thai food.“

Many of us didn’t experience the ‘50s, but diners are apart of the American landscape that chances are you have great memories in a ‘50s themed diner, or at least relate to it as a symbol of American culture. “My first time in this evening and i was very impressed. The waiter explained several dishes and recommended a few items as well. We chose the calamari which was huge and not chewy at all. Very nice! Also artichoke dip. I loved the pita breadbut wasn’t a fan of the chip it was super hard and i couldn’t really bite through it. Otherwise it was also fantastic. I opted for that trio kabob with mushroom risotto and veggies which were cooked perfectly. The brandy sauce and peppercorn something or other weren’t my favorite and i’m glad i chose them on the side. However the kabobs were cooked perfectly and the steak was so easy to chew. Kudos to the staff for keeping the place super clean and organized and the kitchen crew for making some amazing dishes this evening!“

“Lived in Wichita for 34 years. It took a LONG time to find El Rancho! Not everyone's cup of tea - if you want atmosphere = Carlos. Wichita "tradition" = Felipe's (we hate it). Expensive = Abuelos. Old school = Connie's. But El Rancho is our favorite. Inexpensive, AUTHENTIC, some of the best Chile Rellenos ever -- and we've been to Olvera St. in L.A. and had good Mex in AZ and Colorado. Tamales are great, too. No chips & salsa - they just fill you up anyways, before the real stuff is served.“

We had pretzel bites, side salad (great house made ranch), spinach artichoke penne pasta, BLT, chicken fingers, and omg those fish and chips were top notch! Simple bar food done really well!“
