stayed 8-24-26 and the accommodations were perfect. pillows, bed, towels, room clean and new. comfortable as well. the Inn has a nice museum of the F14 Tomcat and local pilots life in the Navy. What a tribute and wonderful way to celebrate his life. We have added Prarie Rose Inn to our stop list as we pass through whether it is in the rv or needed a room. also thank you for making us feel welcome. check is was easy, book your room and receive a code for your room.
Great place but was charged an additional “pet fee” after I left and was told they charge per pet.
What an exquisite little find! Beautiful rooms! Wonderfully clean! A fabulous price for the value of these quality rooms! The staff was wonderfully accommodating. This renovated nursing home is handicap accessible with extra wide doors. Historical artwork throughout! So pleased we happened across this diamond in the rough!

Rosie’s Bar & Grill is an old town bar and restaurant located inside a hotel. It has a cool prairie rustic vibe and is a comfortable spot to enjoy the evening with delicious food and drinks. The restaurant features a Navy TomCat Ready Room, a memorial of the Topgun pilot/photographer who inspired the actual movie, which is a great surprise and a good display. The custom cocktails, food options and taste are fantastic. The Southwest Chicken Wrap, Cheeseburger sandwiches and sweet potato fries are sooo good. The Reuben sandwich is excellent, with corn beef shredded and formed into a patty, then grilled, and the entire sandwich toasted to form a delicious crust. The whole hog, with pull pork formed into a patty and grilled, plus ham and bacon, is a delicious burger. The luau burger and crispy fries are so good. The breakfast is good too. The meats are perfectly grilled, the breads crispy, and the quality unmatched. The main bar is made out of repurposed wood and doors, and there is an outside bar and patio area. The RV park works out great. Everyone is really nice. Highly recommend a visit here.
