“It's no surprise why this place was in the running for a James Beard award. The service, food and atmosphere were amazing. I had the Duck A L'Orange and my husband had the Steak Frites. “I found my new favorite restaurant in Wichita. To my knowledge this is the ONLY place in Wichita where you can get Xialong Bao. Everything we had was absolutely delicious. Especially the fried rice and dumplings. Also the staff are absolutely wonderful, they saw me trying to show the girls how to use chopsticks and they used some rubber bands and paper to fashion a little helper thing to keep the sticks together for the kids. Next time I am going back for the Shredded pork. I can’t wait! If you have not been, you have to give them a try!“

These are MESSY in the very best way- you'll need a fork to handle eating these.

We were visiting for the weekend and ate at Wheat Street Dogs twice because they're worthy of a repeat.

We recommend the: Wheat Street Banh Mi Dog, Wheat Street Chili Dog and the Wheat Street The Mutt.

“Our server was great. Super helpful with me u suggestions. The spirit selection is good and prices reasonable. The deviled egg appetizer was unique and delicious. My filet was tender and flavorful. The pork tenderloin was kind of dry and maybe overcooked a bit. The carrot cake was among the best I have ever had. Other than the pork tenderloin, everything else was spot on perfect.“

“Ordered two bacon breakfast burritos on the morning of 7/30/24 - wow, they were AWESOME. We came here to El Gordo after seeing the disgusting food being served for breakfast at the Staybridge Suites - life is too short to eat such garbage, LOL - El Gordo was just a couple minutes down the road, easy to order, and 1,000 times better. One of the best breakfast burritos we have ever had, too.

“Love this place. Me and my bf decided to stop here for dinner after work. Let me tell you...it was a life changer. Napoli became our new spot. Love this place. I got a glass of fiction red and that was enough to make me feel sleepy lol. We ordered the cozze as a starter and the mussle waa not chewy and perfect. My bf loves pizza and ordered the Fig & Prosciutto Pizza, wow amazingly good. The prosciutto waa not salty as i thought it would be so i was happy about that. I opted for the spaghetti nero, this was soo damn good. As dor desert we got a Tiramisu-Espresson to go, so yummy..“

“Great food and service. Restaurant was closed so ate at the bar. The food was very good with large portion sizes for a small price. I was telling my lady that pork chop meal I had would be almost 50 bucks in Portland, but don't raise the prices ok. The french onion soup was good and not super salty and the fettuccine my lady had was great with shrimps. Bartender was nice, made us feel welcome and very attentive to service needs. We also ate the breakfast buffet this morning before we left. Great selection of fruits meat and other items. My only complaint is the eggs looked like they had been there a while.“
