“It's no surprise why this place was in the running for a James Beard award. The service, food and atmosphere were amazing. I had the Duck A L'Orange and my husband had the Steak Frites. Everything was cooked to perfection and so flavorful. It was a great place to celebrate our 21st anniversary. Kennedy our server was amazing. Highly recommend this place.“

We were visiting for the weekend and ate at Wheat Street Dogs twice because they're worthy of a repeat.

We recommend the: Wheat Street Banh Mi Dog, Wheat Street Chili Dog and the Wheat Street The Mutt.

“For being a hotel restaurant, the food was actually pretty good! I would have chosen to eat here even without the convenience factor of it being in the hotel. The only downside was that on multiple nights, they were completely unprepared for a larger crowd, despite being a convention hotel. For several nights in a row, our convention event was done at 7p, and they seemed completely unprepared staffing wise. We had to wait almost an hour to be seated one night because they were only seating about 1/3 of their tables. You would think being a convention hotel, they would be more used to a large group of people with similar schedules.“

A woman who was not my server asked to see my id, proceeded to ask for me to take it out, scratched the front and back of it, went to the bar side, shined light through it and asked her coworkers if it was a valid ID. I have never had issues with my plastic and paper ID when going out. The girl who scratched my ID’s name is Linnea or how ever it is spelled. Overall food and server were amazing!“
