Though he knew he was sharing disappointing news, he was very knowledgeable about gluten allergies and cross-contamination. It’s extremely refreshing to have someone explain why I can’t have something without me even asking anything past “do you have the gluten free bread right now?” Joey even helped me craft a makeshift meal out of options that were available. “I love Left Bank! It's one of the first places my husband and I used to go when we first started dating, so lots of sweet coffee date memories! The family that owns and operates Left Bank is so kind and it has been a joy to see their business grow and evolve over the years.

I do miss the indoor dining, but luckily it was replaced with the cutest little gift shop ever—Maison! I have bought so many gifts and cards there. If you're ever in Covington, this place is a community treasure. They are located in the perfect little neighborhood so grab yourself a barber's brew and take a stroll through the historic riverside district.“

“Outstanding food! Got the classic cuban and plantains. The cuban was spot on. Crunchy on the outside, moist and balanced on the inside. The plantains were cooked and seasoned to perfection. Even my 5 year old couldn't get enough.“

“A dive bar type of place with a cozy basic atmosphere. Drinks are cheap for a downtown bar in Covington KY. Service is attentive and friendly. Food is not served but several restaurants are nearby or one can bring food into the bar. Happy hour is unparalleled for it seems to cover all types of drinks. This is not the usual for places that have happy hour. Seating is ample plus space exists to stand.“
