“Strong's new Newport location has noticeably "upped their game". I've been there the last two Fridays with a group for lunch and EVERYONE agreed that their pizzas were PHENOMENAL. The ingredients and flavor profiles were distinctly fresh and you could tell they aren't aiming to be "just another pizza joint"! 👍“

“The chicken is the best in Kentucky. The green beans were country style and awesome. Then the mashed potatoes with bacon and pepper gravy was awesome also. I definitely recommend this place. Just had the chocolate pecan pie with bourbon sauce with butter pecan ice cream, that was the best I ever had.“

“The girl that greeted us had dark hair (black I believe) I should’ve gotten her name. I was going in to pick up a testing cookie-Pumpkin cheesecake, with my 3 young kids. I’m someone who’s easily stressed and wanted this to be a quick in and out type of deal, we came 10 minutes early so I was expecting to wait but nope it was ready! We also ended up buying the cookies and cream cake. The cashier/baker was the sweetest though, even if the cookies had been terrible we’d come back to see her.

The pumpkin cheesecake was delicious, right amount of cheesecake and pumpkin flavor with the graham cracker crumbl on top. I was so excited this was at the location near us. Thank you!!!!!“

“Fruitland is a hidden gem; my fiancee and I came with her family, and it was the perfect afternoon treat! The store was clean and cute, the staff were super friendly, and the food was AMAZING. The food is made fresh to order and clearly made with care. The flavors are authentic but there’s also options friendly for a whiter palate (mine!). Parking is a little difficult but that’s normal for downtown Newport. So WORTH IT. My fiancee and I are already making plans to come back again! ❤️“

They don’t serve food or make mixed drinks, but you can bring your own food or get delivery, which is convenient. Bartender was alright — not overly friendly, but did the job. Overall, it’s a solid neighborhood bar if you're in the mood to kick back, have a basic drink, and shoot some pool.“

I've ordered delivery from here though, more than a few times. Their food is always piping hot, and super delicious, the chicken and veggies always cooked the the perfect consistency and texture. The serving sizes are great.
I have tried a few other local Indian restaurants but Amol always hits in the best ways.“
