“Although I've lived in the neighborhood for over 10 years, I've only visited Carabello Coffee a couple of times, which I regret. It's an easy walk from Newport on the Levee and most other spots in Newport, making it a convenient stop if you're exploring the area. Street parking is available.

I don't drink coffee, so I can't speak to the coffee itself, but I was genuinely impressed by the selection of teas. The service was phenomenal, everyone was incredibly friendly and happy to answer my many questions without making me feel out of place. Beyond the drinks, the retail space is worth browsing on its own. If you appreciate thoughtful design, you'll find everything from unique chocolates to beautifully crafted coffee makers and brewing accessories that are as interesting to look at as they are functional.

The shop is divided into three distinct spaces, each with its own atmosphere. The center serves as the main counter where you can order coffee, tea, and a quick bite. To the right is a comfortable seating area that's perfect for enjoying your drink, while the space to the left (Analog) has more of an Internet cafe feel, complete with themed drinks and food.

What stood out to me most was how adaptable the space feels. Whether you're meeting a friend, settling in to work for a few hours, or simply looking for a quiet place to slow down, Carabello seems to naturally fit the moment.“

“Stopped by one day for coffee and the next for coffee + pastries, and I gotta say: it was pretty great. I don't remember what I got the first day, but the second day I got a cup of black coffee and a chocolate croissant and it was excellent. I plan on hitting it up again when I'm back this October.

Really, my only complaint is that both times we went it was absolutely packed butts-to-nuts, which I personally think is an endorsement of how good it is.“

“Let me just start off by saying what an AMAZING staff! They watched me curb check HARD and got a flat in the drive thru. I pulled into a parking spot and as soon as I got out the sweetest guy named Jett came right over and asked if I needed help. He gratefully changed my tire (I had a stroke recently so this was just life saving for me) The entire drive thru crew were AMAZING and so helpful thank you all so much! “This is probably the FASTEST Starbucks drive thru I've ever been to. Not just sometimes but EVERYTIME I've come thru this drive thru it's maybe a total of 3 minutes from ordering to pulling away. Everyone I've encountered here has ALWAYS been super upbeat, and friendly. “Amazing location. I'm very grateful to this young man that help me out. it has been many years since I have been at a Starbucks and my mom got me a gift card for Christmas so I thought it would be a good time to have a frappicinos. This young man took his time and gave me excellent service. And he even said if it's not what I wanted that they will remake it. So after the young man help me out. I waited for a few minutes and the next thing I knew my drinks was finished thanks to the young lady that was also there. I grab my drinks after the young lady said what drink were up. I ask the lady to tell the young man that he is amazing and making a great experience at this location. When I left the location I tried my drinks that I purchased and they nailed it. it was bussin fr. I hope this location keeps the warm atmosphere. I for real would be going back and looking forward to seeing this location being around for a long time.“
