“If a coffeehouse does not have at least one couch and a couple “comfy chairs” to enable one to chat with a friend—it needs to close down and get out of the business. This place has it all! This place is NOT overpriced, it satisfies not just with the coffees and drinks but also has unfussy, unhipster sandwiches, fast breakfasts without all the goofiness, stiffness and pretension of the modern “it” coffee shop. Spacious, sanitary, yet comfortable and with a smart investment in an outside patio too. They welcome locals who just want to watch an FC Cincy soccer game, have a cocktail, get “out of the house” but not feel like you are entering some enigmatic world of strange new vocabulary for coffee.“

“Best Coffee shop in Cincinnati hands down - Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Breakfast croissant was a 10/10
There were some coffee YouTubers in there and I heard the guy RAVING about the seasonal coffee beans that he purchased
Stashed away about 5 min from University of Cincinnati and downtown this is a must visit in town for any coffee connoisseur“

“Place has a really comfy atmosphere and nice decor.
Got tomato soup and ginger molasses cake. Tomato soup was very sour and honestly barely tasted like tomatoes but the ginger molasses cake was so good and I'd probably go back just for it.
Service was also very nice. Would recommend!“

“Where do I even begin? Best coffee, best beverages in general! James is so friendly and welcoming even when INCREDIBLY busy. I literally walk to Ludlow Coffee every single morning. I notice a huge difference in my day if I miss it. If you've not been here yet, ya better go soon! This coffee shop is one of a kind to say the absolute LEAST. ❤️ ☕️“

“Visiting from out of town and my friend brought me because she loves it. Gotta say, I do too. Their mission to invest in the community is a great draw but also the food and coffee were great! Got the stuffed French Toast and the Price Hill breakfast with goetta. Absolutely delicious! And my friend tried a special coffee but it was too sweet for her (she doesn’t have a very sweet tooth) and they remade it for her half as sweet easy peasy. Good business! Oh and cool art! Don’t love the faces upstairs though haha“

“Such a gem. Stopped while in town for the weekend and will be back. Staff are friendly and kind. Atmosphere is cozy and relaxed, perfect place to chill, work or read. Good seating options and love all the windows. I got their seasonal drink — peppermint mocha? Iced, and I’m glad I did. So sweet and good, but not over the top.“

“I grew up on Long Island NY and now reside in the beautiful Smoky Mountains of East TN with my gf, so we know good coffee spots! This charming little place just so happened to be across the street! It was our check out day after I sang the National Anthem the night before for the Florence Y'all's. I had a capuchino, my gf had a latte. Both were very good! It is my understanding the owners are Taiwanese. Historic building with tons of board games and an upper level where you can sit on the floor traditionally like their Culture. Definitely make a point to stop here on your way to Covington KY or just passing through! -dmc-“

“We stopped in here for breakfast during our hotel stay. Staff was prompt and polite but admittedly was not very outgoing. The coffee is highly recommended. Breakfast sandwiches were freshly prepared and were better than expected. The space is functional and comfortable but seemed a bit too spartan. A few more touches of color or some additional decorations would warm it up.
Food and beverages that are purchased from here are part of the Hilton Honors My Way hotel benefits, as long as you charge the food/drink to your room. Just make sure you review your final hotel bill, as the hotel didn't give us the credits. We had to call back to get those charges removed.“

“My friend and I happened upon this gem while on a girls day in Latonia. From the minute we walked in, we were welcomed with open arms. The baristas answered our questions and whipped up the most delicious drinks. The owner introduced herself and showed us around, quickly becoming a friend. We sat for a while on the amazing pink velvet couch and fell in love with this quaint little shop. Before we left, the owner offered to loan out her personal shopping cart (which she decorated for us). It was a memorable day and we will definitely be back!“

“I got a decaf stroopwaffle latte (it might be seasonal) and it was so so tasty and just so aesthetically pleasing, and in general it just lifted my mood to be there. People are studying, quietly talking with friends, or reading. All the workers were nice and happy to give recommendations- and its a big mug you get, filled to the rim, for in my opinion, a very reasonable price. Mine was $5“

“One of my favorite coffee shops around the UC area! It’s walkable from the UC medical campus and main campus. Plenty of spaces to study/work/chill. The staff is always friendly and helpful! Plus, free WiFi! Perfect for a study place!
Dietary restrictions: I get non-dairy options due to milk allergy, but my friends love everything we have gotten from here!“

“Recommended visiting when there isn’t a bengals game going on. Cute seasonal menus for their coffees and drinks. Very simple and small but with a lot character. I think this should be a regular spot for anyone who enjoys a nice tucked away spot to sit and sip.“

“My new go-to coffee shop! It's a little out of my way but it's always worth it. I always see the same employees and they're always so kind! All the baked goods are fresh and delicious and the coffee is always hot! Super responsible prices for the quantity and quality. And the best part- it's CLEAN!!! I even see employees sweeping and wiping down tables which is definitely appreciated since the last place I went to pretty musty... 10/10 amazing little spot“

“I absolutely LOVE theproteinlife.ky! I had bariatric surgery several years ago and have to work really hard to make sure I get my daily protein in. This shop has saved me! I am working my way through all their flavors. It’s a dessert I don’t have to feel a bit guilty about. I also love their teas and I am not a tea drinker. I usually get these for a pick me up in the afternoon. The bonus to stopping in is that the owner, Archi, always makes my day brighter! She is a wonderful person. Stop in and see her and grab a shake or tea.“

“I am not a coffee drinker, so I was happy to see they have good loose-leaf tea (Rishi) as an option. The barista was very friendly and knew a lot of visitors by name. The blueberry scone was delicious! I’ll definitely stop again when in the area!“

“I love Left Bank! It's one of the first places my husband and I used to go when we first started dating, so lots of sweet coffee date memories! The family that owns and operates Left Bank is so kind and it has been a joy to see their business grow and evolve over the years.
I do miss the indoor dining, but luckily it was replaced with the cutest little gift shop ever—Maison! I have bought so many gifts and cards there. If you're ever in Covington, this place is a community treasure. They are located in the perfect little neighborhood so grab yourself a barber's brew and take a stroll through the historic riverside district.“

Not only is there coffee delicious and have dairy friendly options but they also have delicious little pastry's! I would give this place 1000000/5 Stars if I could.“

“2 years ago I found this place , I had a nice cup of coffee and bought some packaged coffees . How quickly time passed years after I stopped again , the employees are very kind as usually and everything is affordable and delicious. Hope to come again for music ? Thank you“
“I've only been here once, so far. It's a decent-sized space inside, with lots of outlets, WiFi, and chairs with backs and cushions. There's also plenty of patio seating for a nicer day. Drink-wise, the plain latte I had was 10/10. The espresso/barista quality speak for themselves, and it speaks volumes if I can enjoy a drink that much without trying a more interesting/seasonal drink. They also have pastries/breakfast items. The mini quiche was phenomenal -- herby, rich, a tad bit of spice.. I'd eat it any day. My hard-to-please lady said the coffee cake was just decent and the caramel vanilla capp was 8/10 (excellent by her standards). This place is open late and serves wine/beer/cocktails, too.. what that really means is this is a rare place where you can get a coffee late in the evening! I have no doubt they'll be seeing my face more in the future; it's a top-notch coffee shop that I can't wait to explore more of!
Parking: 2 hour limit on the meters, but you can move a couple spaces over and be in a different zone“
