We ended up going with the Friday meatball sandwich special, the Italian sandwich and two vanilla tonka lattes. Both sandwiches and lattes were heavenly! “Benson Paige is a pup who has lived in a shelter for a whole year. Today is his last day on earth since he is being humanely euthanized tomorrow. A foster took him out and spent some time at Bloc, so benson got to finally cuddle up on a couch. He finally got to eat a whole plate of eggs, a plate of bacon and experience the good life- something he never got to experience before. Stevie the lead barista was incredibly kind and compassionate over the phone with me while I tried to coordinate getting benson a special treat and helped me make sure the foster & benson were taken care of and that he got to experience love. There are no words to describe my gratitude to them and thank them for providing a place for benson to be safe and loved. ❤️❤️❤️ can not recommend them enough for their customer service“

“What a delightful coffee shop! Lots of delicious options. I had the Cinnamon Chip Muffin, Hazelnut coffee and took home an Almond croissant. They have sugar free and gluten free options, too! Scrumptious. Chill and friendly atmosphere with good service. Local art on display and community feel. Easy parking. I highly recommend.“

To be fair the tomato gallette was really good too, but the scone i didn't expect much from and was pleasantly surprised. “My wife and I went here with my parents who live nearby. We'd been here once before, and I know we'll keep going back when we visit Cincinnati. I had the cortado before, because cortados are delicious. This time I had drip coffee and the overnight oats, which were super good. It was the day after Christmas and very mellow inside. The staff are really nice and friendly. We found a cozy booth to sit in and spent about 30-40 minutes there. Highly recommended!“

“Unbelievable place. Found it while working construction downtown. Ive eaten lunch there for over a month straight now and there is not one thing that disappointed me. Soups are some of the best I've ever had, sandwiches to die for, they have there own menu but can get what you want made, cant beat the specials!!! They also do breakfast but I havent tried that yet, but my friends have had omelets for lunch and said they were fire!!! Also the in-house made pastries and sweet are great too. Also everything is well priced!! And the staff is amazing!!“

I ordered the iced girl scout latte and was very impressed with the drink I received. I brought my laptop with me to get some homework done and was very happy to find ample outlets and comfortable seating -- not as easy to find in a local cafe as you might think. It was quiet in the late afternoon but definitely started picking up in the evening as people transitioned from ordering coffee to the actual bar. All in all, there's a little bit of everything here. Also, when you order your drink, you have to wait and pick it up yourself, as they don’t offer table service. Overall, it’s a good place for working, but plan ahead for parking and grabbing your drink.“
