“We hosted a baby shower at Bloom Room and it was fantastic. Planning was a super easy process, they were very responsive by email, and it was extremely straightforward. We actually had to reschedule the date because of a snow storm, and the Bloom Room was so helpful and accommodating of the situation. The actual event was wonderful, food was incredible. The space is perfect as well. Highly recommend!!“

“A hidden gem on Garfield Place . We decided to throw out the Hyde park restaurants and try something new . The Mezze Board was fantastic with all of the Mediterranean dips and veggies , The Shrimp Cossoult is to die for . The braised lamb /risotta/feta explodes with every bite. The best of all is that it was our first time dining and and I felt like family with the service from Nimo and Bryce , Coming back next week for the Swordfish . 6 stars !!!!!“
“went in there with Charlie and we had such a relaxing time. the staff was quite knowledgeable and I could tell had a passion for wine as I do. highly recommend“
“The Loon is my favorite wine bar shop in Northside, Cincinnati. It has Scarpetta wines, which has a wonderful Prosecco! The music is always fabulous, the cocktails fresh, and the people friendly. I have a glass of wine while I wait for my bottle to go as it sits in the chiller, perfect! Make it a Loon afternoon!“
“Rosemary’s Bar at High St. might be the best kept secret in Cincinnati. Tucked inside a beautiful boutique shop, this small but mighty bar lets you sip craft cocktails while you browse — and trust me, the drinks are worth stopping for. Their espresso martini is legitimately one of the best in the city, and the Paloma is equally impressive. If you haven’t stumbled across this hidden gem yet, consider this your sign to go find it — Rosemary’s is the kind of discovery you’ll want to share with everyone you know.“

“Enjoyed our stay here! The entire hotel was very cool with all the decorations and artwork. We loved how the room was decorated and that it was colorful instead of a standard, boring hotel room. Everything was very clean! And all the employees were friendly and helpful, especially Derek!“

“We decided to make a reservation about 4 hours before just for a date night with my husband. Food was amazing as always. Tentative waitstaff and what I loved most was that we were not rushed. This only unfortunate part was we were too full after bread, drinks, wine, lobster bisque and steak with yummy sides to have dessert. LOL“
“Whoever the bartender/mixologist was on Friday, January 24th…shout out! I always usually only ever order Expresso Martinis. It is always rare that certain establishments even offer/make them. However, this was one the absolute best one I have ever had…and I have had MANY!! lol! I had 3 that night and each one was amazing! I will be back for more!“

“1215 is one of the best coffee shops I’ve had the pleasure of frequenting, and I make it a habit to go here at least once a week. It’s in the heart of OTR and is super convenient for anyone in that area. I’m on a first name basis with the baristas and ordering food/coffee from them feels less transactional and more human. They sell Deeper Roots coffee which is top notch, and I could drink their house blend for the rest of my life. They have a really solid selection of teas too. The place is not at all pretentious, and has a regular clientele that is relaxed and friendly - and the place is bustling but not too busy. The music they play is at the right volume and is well-curated - Americana, folk, 2000s indie, soft rock, blues. Around 5-6pm the coffee shop vibe slowly turns into a romantic and cozy wine bar with live music on some nights. The flowers on the tables are replaced by candles and the lights are dimmed. While I’m usually busier in the evenings, this tempts me to stay all day. Fantastic place that I cannot recommend enough!“
“Wine that is designed to drink, not sit in a bottle in grandpa's cellar. The product is absolutely killer and the space is a great vibe with a strong rotation of great music that comes through. An elevated experience with no pretention“

“Mia was excellent. Great service and food. We had reservations on a Sunday at 1130. When we arrived, the restaurant was basically empty. We were seated - four adults looking to enjoy each other's company. Approximately 15 minutes after we sat down, the hostess sat a large party that included 5 toddlers. The noise level went through the ceiling. the entire restaurant was empty - or nearly so. What inspired the staff to sit this noisy bunch near us? We had just started eating making requesting a move very inconvenient to us.“

“A Truly Unique and Intimate Wedding Venue!
Choosing The Skeleton Root was one of the best decisions we made. Kate was so thoughtful and responsive, always making us feel supported and cared for throughout the planning process. Her clear communication made everything feel easy and stress-free.
The venue itself is intimate, romantic, and absolutely beautiful, with a warm atmosphere that felt perfect for our day. The team was incredibly flexible with our vendors and went above and beyond to ensure setup and tear down were seamless.
We truly couldn’t have asked for a better venue — our wedding felt magical, and we’re so grateful to Kate and The Skeleton Root team for making it happen.“

“One of my favorite places to eat. I love the food. Wine selection is good. Service is good.
I have two issues with this place.
#1. They charge $10 cork fee per bottle of wine on everyday but Thursday. That’s a crime. They claim that their wine is cheaper than other places so it justifies the cork fee, but that’s simply not true. I can get most of them cheaper at Krogers. I don’t agree with being penalized $10 per bottle to drink it there. Therefore I rarely go there any longer unless it’s a Thursday. They could at least cut it back to one $10 fee per night.
#2. When they have a live band they bring the tip jar around to each table and expect you to tip the band. I know where the tip jar is and I usually tip the band, but I don’t like how they somewhat force you to tip them by bringing it to your table. Especially when I’m trying to eat my food.

“Stopped in for beers while visiting Second Sunday on Main after seeing 4 hot guys in a row go inside lol. Very fun and friendly neighborhood bar. Kyle the bartender is awesome! Although I live in Hyde Park I’ll definitely be upping my OTR game and visiting again“

“I came to the Summit to attend a birthday celebration in their ballroom. Dorothy provided outstanding service without making me feel like I was a burden. I have a hard time chewing, and she happily switched my food for me. It's little acts like this done with a smile that really make nights like this memorable. Thank you!“

“What a CUTE coffee shop 😍😍 The inside is absolutely darling and has plenty of space to sit and enjoy your coffee and breakfast. We opted to sit outside on the patio and enjoy the beautiful weather. Super dog friendly which is always great to see. And lots of breakfast options. We got the quinoa bowl for a gluten free option and it was so good. The sausage in it was very light and everything else was very filling. They also had some fun gluten free muffins and a s'mores bar that was super tasty!! Definitely recommend if you live in the area or are just visiting 👌“

“Have been there on several occasions, but tonight was first time seated at counter. Absolutely WONDERFUL experience overall. Sitting by brick oven and watching the kitchen function on all cylinders was wonderful. Had one of the best waitresses ever ( cannot pronounce her name correctly), but her recommendations were SPOT ON. I didn’t order from the menu but asked her to give me her favorite pasta and it was sooooo good. Wife and I saw something come out of brick oven a couple times and its aroma was unrivaled. It was the eggplant and she got it and said it was some of the best she ever had. Spoke with new mgr Tony and informed him we had recently been to Soto and would return to Forno ten times over before going back to Soto. Have been here three or four times now and menu is fantastic (have had something different each time). After sitting in front of brick oven, my wife and I now know where we will go for some takeout pizza!!! If I could give more stars I would“

“Last night, I had the pleasure of trying Killer Queen in the Banks District for the first time, and I was absolutely impressed by the stunning atmosphere and amazing venue. The bartender was extremely friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. However, the drink I tried wasn’t the greatest. I think there’s an opportunity to refine the bar program and create some truly excellent, crafty cocktails—exactly what the Banks needs. With just a little tweaking, they could easily become the go-to spot for top-notch drinks. I’ll definitely be back!“
