“My husband and I visited Seasons 52 Cincinnati last year for our anniversary and had such a great experience that we came back to celebrate again this year. “I’m not a wine person but my wife wanted to try a wine bar and we decided to come to Skeleton Root. When talking to the staff I informed them of my lack of wine knowledge. They were very helpful and professional. They recommended a couple of different wines which we tried and to my astonishment, I enjoyed a couple of their wines. The atmosphere was rustic and laid back which I loved. It was a lovely experience and I would like to thank the staff for their suggestions and their help.“

“The Capital Grille was fabulous. From arrival to leaving, they provided exceptional service. Upon arrival, they greeted us with a smile, and there was no wait. The table was ready and they even accommodated our large party with a few unexpected people.
The waiter Paoblo was amazing. He provided us with all the chef's specials and provided a detailed review of the menu.
He was very attentive to our needs. The manager on duty was very professional and pleasant and ensured we were taken care of. As we celebrated three birthdays, it was a pleasant and memorable evening.

“1215 has a great atmosphere. The coffee, tea, wine, and cocktail selection are what you want from a later night wine and coffee bar. Loved the ambiance. Service was great. It's very cozy and warm. I can't wait to visit once the weather cools. I highly recommend.

The only thing I found interesting was that I wasn't able to tap to pay. This is not particular to 1215. There was no parking app or ability to tap to pay for parking either. I just relocated from another city and rarely carried cards or cash.“

“So happy to have this fantastic cocktail bar in our neighborhood. The cocktail and wine selection is wonderful and the staff is friendly. The atmosphere is dark and moody and lends itself well to the curated music and extensive vinyl collection. My only critique is the overpowering fragrance of the bar. You can get whiffs from down the street and I can’t help but taste it in my drink and water. Dial that fragrance back and it’s a 10 out of 10!!!“

“I have no idea why it took me so long to give Forno Osteria & Bar a try. I guess I don't get down to East Hyde Park very often, even though it's only barely over a mile from home. It will definitely not be long before a return visit. Be sure to book an online reservation before going. We did and were treated to an outdoor table of our choice.

To start my wife and I split the arugula salad with golden raisins, capers, shaved cauliflower, pistachios, citronette dressing, and parmigiano reggiano ($13). The serving was very generous and the salad was full of flavor. I loved the crunch of the pistachios and cauliflower.

I ordered the basil and ricotta tortelloni served with pomodoro sauce, parigiano reggiano, and basil oil ($25). The freshly made pasta is stuffed full and cooked perfectly. The sauce was rich to complement the subtle flavor of ricotta.

My wife ordered the asparagus gnudi "Cacio e Pepe" ($21). Gnudi is similar to gnocchi, but the dumplings are made of ricotta cheese and semolina instead of potato flour. These were very light and served in a Vermont butter sauce with asparagus. It was a very flavorful dish, despite the simple presentation. I think I enjoyed the tortelloni better, but both are worthy of ordering again on a future visit.“
