“We were on a work trip and randomly stopped here based on Yelp reviews. The restaurant is tucked back on a nice quaint road, which we later learned was on the Bourbon trail. Outdoor seating was perfect. My friend and I split the Wedge salad (not pictured) and I ordered the Shrimp and Grits. Flavor was amazing! Staff was friendly and courteous. I would definitely visit and try something else on the menu. Oh, and there are at least 200 bourbons on a separate menu! Check it out!“

“What a wonderful treasure! My husband & I wanted a good meal before we hit the road. And found it at Shelly's. Amazing service & very good food. The meatloaf was perfect & they had chicken livers! Everything was cooked great. Wished we lived closer. But I'm so glad we did stop this time.“

“Our dinner trip last night was nice. The only real complaint I had was that the blinds were up all the way and the sun was beating hot in my face. Could not have a decent conversation due to this. There was a couple at the table behind us at the window and they were not willing to lower the shade at all. I had a whopping headache when I left there and had to pull over on the interstate to throw up $ 36.00 of food from your dining room. I am sorry to vent but I thought you guys needed to know so you could lower blinds before the sun gets way to hot and bright in the sky.!Thank you for listening!Carla McMillen“
