“We drive from Richmond to go to this excellent Chinese restaurant. Everything is made in house. Real chicken broth in the wonton soup, wonderful hot and sour soup. Always an excellent blend of spices and ingredients in the main dishes. Artful chef. We always get excellent service - this time Amaya.“

“Payton was our server tonight and she was amazing! She recommended me the matcha martini and I could honestly drink 20, it was so yummy. Coming on a Wednesday was a good choice because there’s not that much traffic inside either. The service was so amazing def recommend!!“

“We had not been to J2C in a long time. Before COVID it was our favorite Asian restaurant. Then they were unavailable and we never went back. Last night we ordered 2 fish dinners and they were absolutely delicious. The fish was cooked perfectly and the flavors were spot on. We will ordering from them again!!“

“MY FAV CHINESE in all of Lex. Weekly customer since finding this gem! Almost 1 yr ago. Super hot and super delicious when he delivers to my door and always with a smile. The only Chinese I'll be eating in Lex and when not in Lex I'll just wait till I get back!! The portions are amazing and always so fresh!!! THANKS WONG WONG!“

“Me and my family have been coming here for about 6 years. It is definitely the best chinese food in Lexington. I don't say that lightly. All their food is fresh and delicious. The lady who owns the place is so nice and friendly and caring. Helpful with orders when there is a mess up.
She is great. The cooks are great.
The food is amazing. I feel like this place should get more recognition.
Their egg rolls and crab ragoon are so yummy and the orange chicken and the bourbon chicken are our favorite.

“I’ve been twice now and they never disappoint. Their salad is especially good, along with their dumplings. It has a very cozy aesthetic. I was actually surprised at how clean the whole place was. The workers are also very nice and helped a lot with choosing what to order. Overall, it was a great experience and I definitely recommend it whether you’re a Lexington resident or just stopping by!“

“This is the best Chinese food place ever! We don’t live in Lexington but come here occasionally for my dr appts. We’ve had Chinese food in other towns in other states but I still would choose Cheng’s every time!
I get the General Tso’s chicken. It’s amazing! We’ve also gotten the orange chicken, sweet and sour chicken, Mongolian chicken. I guess we do a lot of chicken, but it’s always delicious! I love this place!“

“This was my first time ordering from this location, as My husband and I recently moved to the area, and this is the best, fresh, hot Chinese food I have EVER had from ANYWHERE! My husband isn't the biggest Chinese food fan, but gave this a 10 out of 10. It only took 15 minutes from the time I ordered it to be delivered as well! Just all around impeccable food and service!“

“I came here for the first time last night. I was pleasantly surprised. The gentleman at the counter was very kind, and he was more than happy to explain the menu items. The prices are very reasonable too. And you can see them cooking your food. When I got my order, it was enough to feed 2 people! They are generous with the sauces too. My meal was very hot and the fried rice is full of flavor. I will definitely be recommending this restaurant to anyone who wants good Asian food.“

“This is the best Chinese food place! It’s a family-run business that still gives tremendous customer service despite COVID. There is no indoor dining right now, but their carry-out service is still great. Masks are worn and social distance is maintained. I’ve never had bad food here. My food is always hot when I get home, and all food is nutritious and appealing. I especially love the vegetable bean curd soup and the vegetable rolls. I’ve also had some of their vegetable dishes. Portion sizes are generous, and the customer service has always been superb. I highly recommend Wah Mei, located in the Hartland Shopping Center on Hartland Parkway, Lexington, Kentucky.“

“For this place to be the newer location in Lexington, they stay busy and handle it well.
The young lady up front, Ayo, handled the rush and line of customers with poise and like a champ. The people in the back were on top of keeping the hot bar stocked. Sure I had to wait a little bit but for one person to be working the line with a 7+ people waiting. I was impressed. Get this girl some more help up front!“

“Best General Tso’s in Lexington! Been coming here for years now and they always get it right. Moving here from Philly, I was spoiled with great American Chinese food options and went on a hunt to find the spot closest to what I liked. After trying over 15 places, this is the only one now saved in my phone. Portions are always generous and spiced just right. We usually get the crab Rangoon, general tso, and chicken lo mein. Love it and will keep coming back!“
