“What a delightful surprise to find this beautiful restaurant, close to downtown Lexington, KY! There were four of us. We really enjoyed our entree selections: Short Ribs, Mussels, Steak, and Sushi, plus fresh warm bread. My friend's Old-Fashioned drink was delectable! The service was excellent and exemplary! We were delighted with our Saturday evening at Distilled. Thank you!“

“We’ve been to the Gus’s in Memphis as that’s where I’m from. This location is just as phenomenal! Brandon our server was top notch!! He knew the menu, was so friendly with my kids and held great table conversation! That man is going places! We started with the fried green tomatoes and it took me back to my childhood. After our delicious lunch we got the ChocolateChess pie!! We took it home since we were so full it was so so delicious! We will definitely drive the 35 minutes back and hope Brandon will be our server again! I wish I could give this 10 stars!“

“Have to raise this review to 5 stars. My Ramsey's experience inspired me to make my own copycat pot roast and coleslaw versions since I live far from Lexington. Thank you for motivating me to add more delicious southern treats to my menu!“

“Joella’s is the best! My son has an anaphylactic dairy allergy and have had an extremely hard time over the years finding a safe place to dine-out with him. Joella’s is the place! He is able to eat and enjoy without worrying. Wonderful place and we highly recommend.“

“Tackhouse Pub is my brunch haven, and the hot brown dish is nothing short of a culinary masterpiece. The combination of flavors left me speechless, and I usually reserve that for important things like brunch. The cozy atmosphere and impeccable service make it a must-visit. Tackhouse Pub, where every bite of the hot brown is a step closer to brunch nirvana!“

“The best of the best in Lexington. The freshest and local ingredients coupled with the mind of a top gourmet chef result in a perfect complexity to pair with any beer. The flavor, texture, aroma, all come together for a meal you will remember.“

“We are in Kentucky for the first time. My wife and I was headed to a different restaurant for dinner after arriving for a late dinner from our hotel. That restaurant was closed and so we decided to go to Ramsey diner not sure what to expect. We were greeted promptly and the host was friendly. The server was great and allowed us to have time to look at the menu. The were a lot of choices, it was hard to decided; but boy we are glad we picked the meals we did. The food was phenomenal and would give this place 10 out 10 . Hope to be back to visit in the future.“

“My 2nd Sunday brunch in a row at Stella’s. The employees are kind and capable, the space is cute and the menu has great variety. I love the link sausage and pancakes. Stella’s offers local, friendly to all, family vibes without upselling the gimmick of premade-tasting breakfast food like other places in town. It’s all fresh and fun ?“

“Visiting Lexington with my family, we saw MiMi's while driving the area. So glad we decided to stop in. Food was delicious and given to us fresh. Macaroni, liver and onions, pork chops, cabbage (oh my), and hot water cornbread. Amazing southern meal. From Michigan and food far exceeded our expectations!“

“This place is legit. Good meats and good eats. You got to do the deep fried bacon cheese macaroni balls. Drizzle the bourbon BBQ sauce on those little spherical wonders and send me a thank you. You're welcome. And for the main, go all carnal and order the meats sampler platter and grab your choice of sauce. Splash, splatter and slather your plate till all you have left is an empty platter and some sloppy fingers. This place brings new meaning to finger licking good, but be sure to bring an extra shirt or a Tide Pen because surely in your exuberance you'll have "Bob Rossed" yourself. Oh...and the service was incredible. Courtney is the best!!!! Ask for her and tip her big time. She deserves it. If it wasn't for her the food still would have been good, but because of her service this place was a 12/10. Worth every penny.... and the three hour drive just to dine.“

“Found this place in my maps. A little out of our way to our destination, but absolutely worth it!! The eggs were PERFECT, the gravy delicious (and being southern I am super picky about my gravy) biscuits were fluffy and tasty!!The only thing missing was milk. All in all, do yourself a favor and stop in for breakfast!“
“A few blocks out of the center, but easy to find. Two rooms packed with locals; one room with aircon that was just what I needed. The LP guide recommended the fried shrimp, so decided on that. The food came pretty quickly with a huge mound of shrimp perfectly cooked! I’d definitely recommend this place! Good food, good vibe and friendly staff.“

“Staying in the 21C hotel, didn't have high hopes for the limited breakfast menu. But it was excellent. Smoked sausage was very tasty, appeared home made. The crispy (paprika?) breakfast potatoes, great. Side of sausage gravy also good. Great service from a young lady with the prettiest hair.“

“Enjoyed our evening at Fiddletree last night. Sat at the bar and Matt was terrific. Such a great guy! Enjoyed cocktails, charcuterie tray, and filet. The charcuterie was huge. Filet was cooked perfect and so flavorful. Overall it was a great evening.“

“The mushroom truffle risotto was very good. My kid actually ate all her green beans. Our server was the literal sweetest, as well as the other 2 that were there (we interacted with all 3) & the manager/owner. It wasn't was as fancy as we were expecting & you could definitely go in a little dressed down. But the energy among the people working was great & infectious! It seemed like they all genuinely love what they're doing.“

“This location is so conveniently accessible off Leestown Rd not far from the Citation-Leestown intersection on Lucille Dr beside Ramsey's. I chose one of their pancake meals with strawberries and blueberries with bourbon cream cheese and whipt cream. I was not disappointed as it was delicious and a lot of food. Meal plus coffee under $15. Plenty of seating. Spotless restroom. Overhead music low enough for comfortable table chatting. A large free parking lot. Definitely a go back to place.“

“I frequent both locations of Local Taco - an excellent Lexington favorite. The location downtown is small and quaint with great atmosphere and frequented by UK students. Location in Hamburg is new and large with ample seating and a large bar. Great, fast service. Some of our favorites are the 2 taco and 2 side deal, or the 4 tacos for $15. Recently we had spicy shrimp, Buffalo, brisket, and southern fried tacos with pinto beans and Mexican rice as sides. All tacos were very good, but I'd say my least favorite was the brisket as it did not have a lot of flavor. Same for the Mexican rice... ended up putting some beans in it to give it a little something extra. I do not care for their salsa, but just a personal preference as I do not care for a lot of cilantro. Restaurant is clean, including the restrooms. Beer selection is decent, although a local favorite from Country Boy brewing was out and they do not carry Miller Lite - even in a bottle - which I find strange as the "Coca Cola" of beer. They did have both Dos Equis on draft which is our preference with this cuisine anyway. Not inexpensive, but reasonably priced for quality ingredients and something different. Highly recommend.“

“Made the brutal trip down Nicholasville Road and was surprised as to how empty it was. The server was very lovely and gave a free dessert on the house. The cheesecake was delectable, as was the birria mac n cheese. However, the entree erred on the small side for the price but I do understand that that is often a function of quality. I would come here again but at an earlier time to experience a better atmosphere.Vegetarian options: ample vegetarian options or substitutions“

“Absolutely the kindest owners beyond beautiful people. I would give 10 stars just for the customer service alone hands down. The fried catfish is bomb without any sauce and cooked fresh. While heartily recommend!!Parking: I can ahead and food is ready in time.“

“I am writing to commend your employee, Matthew, at your 2305 Sir Barton Way location in Lexington, KY. He was so pleasant and cheerful, despite being the ONLY employee in the building during a lunch rush. Greeting customers, taking orders, cooking, and delivering food to tables with a smile. Like the rest of the world, Joella’s is short staffed, and that’s understandable. But I hope that the people who make the decisions are able to give this sweet man a raise or bonus or BOTH! Thank you Matthew for the excellent service! Kassie and Joel Durham“

“We had 5 in our party, the food was just OK, the service was just OK, the time with family was amazing. If I had to say I would go there over every place in town I could not. Yes I would return if someone wanted to go there but I probably wouldn't return on my own. With all the great reviews I had gotten from family and friends I expected more than I got, I was disappointed. I don't want to make it seems like it was a bad experience, but it wasn't a great experience either.“

“Food is very good when they get the order right. They seem to have problems when you order multiple of the same item with different options (like for multiple people). Like most American places trying to make tacos, you get a curated experience. When I go to Mexico, I get a plate with tortillas and whatever meat on them and a plate with all the other stuff to make whatever I want. That is why getting the orders correct in an American taco restaurant is important. In any case, the shrimp and the fish tacos are very good. By default they use flour tortillas, but you can select corn.“

“We drive up from Lancaster on special occasions. The location offers a peaceful atmosphere, with above average service and very good food. Between their famous Nighthawk steak and their soups and deserts you can find plenty of options to dine on. I have never been disappointed with any aspect of the Columbia Steak House.“

“This place is great no matter what you get. A few weeks ago I had the banana pudding French toast for brunch. Today I had the buffalo chicken grilled cheese for lunch. Both of my visits have been outstanding to say the least. I can just tell these guys know what the hell they’re doing when they get in the kitchen so if you are a foodie like me this is the place to be.If the weather is good like it was today, you can grab a seat on the patio and enjoy the sun! Check it out…… you will not be disappointed!“
