“I ordered two pies for my family thanksgiving, a pumpkin pie and a cranberry apple pie. To say they were delicious and amazing doesn’t do either pie the justice they deserve. The pumpkin pie was so delicate and light (THESE ARE GOOD THINGS). Sometimes a pumpkin pie can be so heavy and too rich but this was effortless joy, airy and the flavor beat anything I’ve ever even attempted to make. The cranberry apple pie was latticed with sugary perfection. The tart of the cranberry melded with the apple in a delectable ballet of OMG YES. Thank you so much for these pies! “If you are in the area visiting O'Smiley's Toys, walk one block to Mt. Washington Creamy Whip. I was jonesing for some ice cream before we left for home. They serve four different flavors of soft serve ice cream (vanilla, chocolate, blueberry and pineapple). Swirling is available. They also offer some flavors of hand dipped ice creams as we as baked goods like brownies, thumb print cookies. There is seating out front on the sidewalk as well as some limited seating in the back. The back room is decorated with various vintage pieces. There is a piano in this area. A patron was giving an impromptu concert. Well worth the stop.“

“I placed an order for my daughter's birthday cake and they did an fantastic job. We found a picture of a cake my daughter wanted for her birthday and they were able to make it at an affordable price under $40. I called other local bakeries and was quoted $95 and up and another place quoted me $125. Thank you all for making beautiful affordable cakes. The cake was a delicious strawberry flavor and we will be returning in the future for other birthday cakes.“

“I don't know how to change the star rating, but I give this bakery 5 stars !!!! I ordered a basketweave cake the morning before my daughter's birthday. My husband and daughters are cake people, me not so much. To me all cake taste like it's from a box. Boy, was I wrong! This is the best cake I have ever had. It was a double layer, 8 inch with basketweave and colorful flowers. The cake was so moist and dense....my favorite kind. I'm embarrassed to say how many "little" pieces I had. It was so delicious and I will continue to order from this bakery. I have always bought other things (mainly their large pretzel sandwich and pretzels/bistro dip) but now I am their biggest cake fan!!!“

“I got to visit this spot with one of my friends and I'm super glad we went. I've had this spot on my list of places I want to visit for a while but usually I don't visit anywhere near here. This spot is a little hidden and you can accidentally pass it when driving. Parking is a little tight but we found some on the street across from Paris Baghette. I was able to find some mochi donuts and a Nutella filled cinnamon sweet. My friend got two things (one was the chocolate supreme croissant) and everything tasted delicious. Highly recommend! We were both very happy about all the variety here too.“

“The girl that greeted us had dark hair (black I believe) I should’ve gotten her name. I was going in to pick up a testing cookie-Pumpkin cheesecake, with my 3 young kids. I’m someone who’s easily stressed and wanted this to be a quick in and out type of deal, we came 10 minutes early so I was expecting to wait but nope it was ready! We also ended up buying the cookies and cream cake. The cashier/baker was the sweetest though, even if the cookies had been terrible we’d come back to see her.

“Great customer service! My daughter had a pretty bad wipe out in the rain today before coming into the Taylor mill store today. She had a petty nasty scrapes on her knees and elbow. She was in tears and one of sweet workers came over with some cute animal bandaids and a few stickers for all the kids. She was so sweet to my daughter, she was instantly in a better mood after that and it took her mind off her scraped up knees and elbows. I hope she gets recognized for being so kind and her great customer service skills.The milk shakes were also delicious!“

“This place is fantastic! I met the owners personally and they are so sweet, the workers are attentive and friendly, and the food is amazing. Their seasonal macarons specifically never fail to surprise me in the best way but nothing will ever beat the chocolate covered strawberry flavored ones!!! I have also been to their book club, it was so inclusive, interactive, and fun I would definitely recommend going. Give it a try and you won’t regret it!“
