“We had the crispy fish sandwich. I get them often on their visit during the year. I wish they were a normal staple. The fish is crispy, flaky and mouth watering! I also had a roast beef slider that was excellent, with a touch of Arby sauce and horsey sauce.“

“I have been to many DQ's and this one has to be the #1 in food and cleanliness. Food is always fresh and taste excellent, lot's of friendly staff and always with a smile. I have eaten at this location many, many times and never had bad experience. My favorite is the FlameThrower burger, just perfect to give you a kick. If you are ever in Barbourville make sure you eat at this DQ, promise you won't be disappointed.“

“We stopped at this location on our way through. There was excatly 14 people back in the kitchen area. However, no one would come to the register to take an order. After five minutes someone did. Then it took even longer to get two coffees (plain) and one burger. Maybe work on management and less helpers.“

“I had not eaten LJS in many years so wanted to try it again. There was nothing priced comparably to other restaurants. I figured at least the chicken planks would be cheaper. I got the two piece fish meal and was so greasy I had to sop it up with a napkin to make it palatable. I know this is typical because I remember as a kid eating more chicken than fish at LJS because the fish upset my stomach. I see no reason to go back. Captain D's has a broader menu and the fish doesn't bother my stomach.“

“I have eaten at this location ever since they opened up, This place has had it's up's and down's but the crew always tries their best. There have been times where the food comes out just horrible, but most of the time they do a good job. My recent order was their Shaq-a-Roni Pizza and it was delicious.
Try not to read into the reviews too much and give this place a try, I believe they do a good job and food is great. I always leave a tip for the staff so i hope you do the same.“
