“Strong's new Newport location has noticeably "upped their game". I've been there the last two Fridays with a group for lunch and EVERYONE agreed that their pizzas were PHENOMENAL. The ingredients and flavor profiles were distinctly fresh and you could tell they aren't aiming to be "just another pizza joint"! 👍“

“We just had our first visit here tonight and really enjoyed it. Good draft beer selection, games for the kids, and the food was also very good! Our kids really enjoyed the pancakes (mini fried pancake puffs) and the portions were large and my husband had the haddock with amazing beef tallow fries. I had the poke bowl but in my opinion it was lacking some sort of dressing or sauce. A little soy, ginger, sesame oil combo would be nice! We definitely plan to visit again.“

“It's been a long time since I've been here and I don't know why. The service was fast & friendly. Atmosphere was casual, noise level not bad and the food was great. I haven't had a pork tenderloin sandwich in a long time and they didn't disappoint. French fries were nice & crispy and the portion was large enough to share. “Attentive waitress/service, restaurant is organized, clean, and food comes out timely. It’s also visually appealing (I like when my sandwich is built perfectly). Always get the goetta/egg/cheese when I come to town and always enjoy giving my business here. I like that their goetta isn’t mushy but not crunchy. Stoked to see this family place is still running. Great staff and hope all are compensated well for doing a great job.“

“Today I am under the weather and don't feel like cooking, but definitely don't want anything to do with fast food. Brotherton's became my favorite option for this exact scenario years ago for both this reason as well as their large portions, excellent pricing, and amazing staff. For instance, I sent my boyfriend to pick up my order for the open face roast beef dinner tonight. I told the sweetheart on the phone when I called in my order that I am not feeling well. He came home with my dinner as well as 2 Styrofoam cups, one which contained a packet of hot chocolate mix, and the other 2 tea bags, a lemon wedge, and a container of honey, and told him to tell me to feel better soon 🥲 and I'm sure he was in a hurry and forgot her tip 🤦🏽‍♀️ so if anyone reading this knows what her name is, please leave it in the comments so I can bring it to her when I'm feeling better please 🥺 10/5 all day long 💯“

“This place is amazing! great food and generous drinks at crazy cheap prices. Live music every Thursday, Friday and Saturday. We were visiting from the Cleveland Ohio area and found this place totally by accident. We felt like family 5 minutes after we walked in the door. Very friendly and helpful staff, and out of this world kitchen and a diverse menu. It will be your new favorite secret spot.“

“Visited for breakfast, after my Dr.s appointment, was waited and seated immediately, ordered Chicken Sausage, Scrambled Eggs with Cheese, Hash Browns and a order of Pancakes, it came fast and hot, everything was well cooked and flavorful, I couldn't even finish it all. I also paid for a Veterans meal in secret.“

“I'm not going to lie I was not happy when I entered the restaurant after being on hold for 10 minutes to have curb side pick up, but I quickly realized even 5 minutes before closing it was quite busy! the gentleman at the counter was apologetic and kind, our food was warm, and my son loved the cookies.“
