“The owners are a 25/10. They alone make this a place I’ll continue to go back to time and time again. The food is mouthwatering. If you ever see they have the vegan veggie soup - get it. Veggie caprese = chefs kiss. We love to stop in and grab some food for the nearby park. I hope they stick around for many many years.“
“I used Michaelis to cater and bar tend at my wedding. I spoke with Lauren throughout my planning period. She was helpful in providing answers to all the questions I had. She was polite and responsive. Day of my event, the staff showed up at the arranged time and quickly went to work putting the linens on so we could finish our decorations. Candace, Norman, Herbert and Ella were the staff at my event. All of them were very polite and helpful. Candace even helped out on some items not included in my contract. Norman was a great bar tender, following my signature cocktails, keeping the bar orderly and drinks flowing through the night. We did a host provided bar, so Norman didn't know what he was working with until we spoke day of. The food was good, the chicken was slightly dry, but I kind of expect quality to suffer some with a buffet. Dinner went smoothly and staff was quick to remove dirty plates and empty drinks. The staff was quick to cut the cake and put away leftovers for us to take home. I would look into using Michaelis again for any larger event I may have!“

“Best Food truck Louisville has to offer, recently had the Spicy Fried Chicken tacos and let me tell you. The chicken was made fresh steaming out of my plate. Cheese was melting. Everything was just what I expected from the Chef himself. 100/100 !!“
“Well established neighborhood butcher shop serving just about everything under the sun. Hot bar is a daily favorite for lunch breaks of everyone from doctors to construction workers. Highly recommend ordering your chicken and steaks from here at a minimum and fall in love with everything else each visit. There's a reason it's the epicenter for Louisville thanksgiving and Christmas dinners!“
“The ribs are great but I'm a brisket man. You really need to get both and enjoy. I'm from Texas so the bar b que sauce is not my cup of tea but the vinegar base one for the pork is good.Parking: Make sure and use your GPS because you may some time pass the entrance. Once there plenty of parking.“
“The food was great and our reservation went smoothly. Service was fantastic as well. While acknowledging that we went on a busy weekend, the dining room is very loud....but we were able to hear one another. Overall, it was a great experience.“
“Always clean. Always excellent sandwiches. We are from out of town and stop every time we are down in Louisville. They have Cinnabon too. Need I say more? ?Kid-friendliness: Such a big menu choice and of course pizzas. So kids like this place usually. Food is well made.“
“This was the perfect space for the event I attended. Intimate and more than adequate with everything needed for a stellar party from parking to table, chairs and decor. Thank you owner and Chef Aleesia for a beautiful evening and celebration!“
“I was looking for a Black owned spot to visit while in Louisville and The House of Marigold was recommended. So glad I checked it out. First of all, let's talk about how nice the space is. Everything was thoughtfully done. Now let's get into the food. I had the biscuits and gravy and oh my. The biscuits were huge and fluffy and the gravy was nice and peppery. Let's not forget the staff....very helpful and nice. I highly recommend“
“Love their pick up option for party planning. If you need a a tray or two of appetizers and desserts for your party. let Ladyfingers do the work for you. Their food is scrumptious and beautifully displayed. Of course, they offer entrees and side dishes for all party sizes so check out their website. My go-to place for party planning.“
“I am a hard of hearing person who wears hearing aids and just recently went into this location to begin orientation for employment with them. When I initially went into my interview with the manager Nick Smith, I immediately made it known that I have a hearing disability. Not only did he ask questions to help us figure out what could work and what wouldn’t, he also ordered me a sticker to show my disability on my name tag (which has never been done for me before) and him and the hospitality manager greatly accommodated me with clear face to face communication and captions during orientation, as well as making it known to the other team members. You wouldn’t think that this is a lot for them to do, but it meant so much to me. I’ve worked in various fast food jobs like Wendy’s and restaurants like BoomBozz, as well as an auto technician at Valvoline for a year, and these managers at this location were the VERY FIRST people to truly accommodate and support me as a person with profound and moderate hearing loss in my 4 years of customer service. They never made me feel separate from the room and did what they could to help me. I have always self advocated, but there’s also always been a drift in communication between me and my colleagues and I have hope for the managers I will be working for. These managers made it clear that Chick Fil A is a company that cares and I’m so excited to be finally working with people who will give me the safe space to express my obstacles and allow me the accommodations I need, especially when I didn’t have to ask for them. Praise and thanks to the managers in charge of orientation today, you’ve showed that Chick Fil A is a company that supports the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community and you’ve showed me that there ARE employers that care. I am SO excited and grateful to be working with you!“
“My family and I stopped in here than a day and got some ice cream for dessert. There's a nice little establishment they practice good social distancing measures wear a mask and the overall price for the five ice cream's wasn't too bad to be honest it was under $20 for five ice cream's that's all that's not too bad. There's like $15 total I believe. The people were nice and my daughters really enjoyed their cotton candy ice cream so will be back“
