“Never disappoints with this fine icecream brand. We had this second day in a row. I’m in love with their Mango Sorbet, with perfect balanced of sweetness and sour. And my wife is in love with black cherry chocolate chip and dark chocolate brownie. We like this location because the ease of parking, along with good customer service and cleanliness of the shop.“

“My wife and I visited last night for a sweet treat after date night. We were greeted with a wide variety of flavors, so many it was hard to choose! We both ended up with milkshakes that were delicious. Not only were the flavors delicious and reason enough to come back, but the staff were very kind too. It was close to 10pm when we went in, and there was a line. But Abby served us cheerfully with a smile, enthusiasm, and answered all our questions! It was such an excellent experience!“
“Love a locally owned ice cream parlor. Lots of cone options to choose from. Wide variety of ice cream choices. There is something for everyone here. We got a cake cone, a scoop in a cup, and a milkshake! All were awesome. Tried a variety of different ice creams as well. Anyone with small kids know, you get to try them all whether you were planning to share or not.On both entrances of the store they have outdoor furniture, which is perfect for enjoying ice cream on a warm summer day. Service is to be expected with summer high school workers. They do their best, but have some grace as they can sometimes get overwhelmed.Strong recommendation for a before or even after dinner snack! Grab an outdoor couch and take a time out to enjoy some ice cream!“
“Stopped for dessert after our evening meal meeting up with family. I have a sever egg allergy but our server took great care of me. She got a fresh scooper, opened a new sorbet so there wouldn't be any cross contamination Thank you for going above- I'm sorry I didn't get your name. I had raspberry sorbet while everyone else had the ice cream. Our family from Oregon loved the large chunks of chocolate in his ice cream. We sat out doors and watched some of the fireworks going off.“
“It almost hard to believe how high the quality of the food and service is here. The chicken sandwich is the best I've found anywhere, and the fried fish rivals what I'd normally pay $18 for. Sure, it costs $1 than other places but they don't prompt you for adding a tip to the payment. Plus they deliver the food to your table. Other restaurants should follow this business model.“

The owner is actually certified from a place in Italy.They offer about 26 or so flavors which rotate seasonally. They offer cones and cups, as well as take home sizes.In the traditional gelato style they encourage mixing flavors, which I highly recommend as well.Overall its a great old school style neighborhood style dessert place which is a must try after dinner at one of the other restaurants in Norton Commons.“
“Fantastic desserts, friendly service , went back this afternoon because it was next to the pharmacy I had to go to, I got the 4 layer chocolate which I think is the best dessert they have, their pies and cakes are fantastic as well, cookies, brownies, cupcakes they are all extremely good, the young lady who waited on me was very friendly.“
“We were in area and stopping in to the shopping plaza when we discovered this gem. I met Camille, the owner, who was very sweet. We tried the banana pudding and butter pecan ice creams. They were both smooth and delicious. I also got a brownie that I warmed up when I got home. It was everything I didn't know I needed. Will definitely be back to try other cakes and coffees. The shop is small so not somewhere to take a big group. Plenty of parking is in front of shop.“
“It's Labor Day and we just spent 3 hours at the Louisville Zoo and 90° weather. We got in the car and thought "Man, ice cream sounds great!"A quick Google search lead us to Ehlers. We haven't been to this location before and it was right on our way home, so it was an easy choice.This Ehlers location is kinda small, but comfy small. There are 4 or 5 tables and some tall chairs at a counter that look outside. I get the feeling this location is relatively new, and it's very welcoming and makes you think "ice cream!". She then turned around and got our scoops for us. “The first time I was here was with an elite event. I really enjoyed it so I decided to come back and invited a co-worker. I ended up ordering the same thing, "Freedom" tea. Kris, the owner, let us sample a shake. I sampled the fruity pebbles shake, and that was pretty tasty. I may try that next time. One thing that I wasn't aware of the first time that I came here that they offer a fitcamp. So on Wednesdays at 6:30 pm, they offer a free fitness event at their establishment. Please call before coming if you are only coming for the fitness event to make sure that they are having the event.“
“Sadly we didn't have the excellent customer service the restaurant was known for. We were rushed thru without even getting a chance to think and so one of the kids was very disappointed. The flavor of the chocolate ice cream is outstanding along with the double chocolate chip and the vanilla bean but the strawberry left a lot to be desired....it didn't taste like anything except iced sugar.“
“This little shop is located in a small strip mall off OldShepherdsville road. They have ice cream, popsicles, specialty treats and snack food options. The service is friendly and fast. There is seating inside the store. Parking can be a bit of a challenge at certain times off the day, if the other stores are busy.“
“Kid-friendliness: The staff member who was working on our visit (3/12/24) was very kind to my kids who have been wanting to try rolled ice cream for a bit now! ? They were very excited, which didn't seem to perturb him a bit thankfully!They got Cookie Monster rolls with sprinkles, chocolate chips, and M&M's which they just loved! “My wife and I have found a new favorite place to eat. The menu is full of different things to try. We have dined in twice, so far, and both times, the food was excellent. My wife loves the lettuce wrap burger. It fits her needs with what she can eat. The California style double combo is my go-to burger. The staff is pleasant to be around, and they seem to be happy with their work environment. We introduced my mother to Freddy's by taking her out to dinner there, and she has already made plans to go back. All in all, I believe we have found a great new restaurant to eat at. “I really like this place. Staff and patrons very welcoming of kids. But parents there are a few issues you need to know about….1. Bring food. Pizza, McDs, Chick-Fil-A. The food truck on day we went didn’t have much my kid would eat and was pricey.2. Bring some sand toys and meet a friend there to keep kid entertained. Mine had more fun when another kid his age showed up.3. Your kid will think the bourbon slushies are an icee. Lol. So maybe grab one before you come.4. They don’t always have ice cream so don’t mention it.5. The sand. Mine wanted to go play on the court (which is always in use) with its beautiful, fluffy sand. There isn’t necessarily a kid sand area (that would be awesome!). Kids play on the side but this day it was very compacted. A woman there said it wasn’t always like this.6. Watch out for balls and people on court cuss. I don’t care but some might.Pros: contained place to tire out your kid while you have a beer and talk to other adults. We will be back.“

“My family and I stopped in here than a day and got some ice cream for dessert. There's a nice little establishment they practice good social distancing measures wear a mask and the overall price for the five ice cream's wasn't too bad to be honest it was under $20 for five ice cream's that's all that's not too bad. There's like $15 total I believe. The people were nice and my daughters really enjoyed their cotton candy ice cream so will be back“
