“We have been to Toro twice now in the last week. We loved it the first time. My husband had the burger of the day and I had the ceviche and they were both quite good. The margarita we both had was also very good. We went back the second time and my husband had the Chef's special. It was great! I had the seafood paella and it was just OK. It was very overdone and the mussels on top were so overdone that there was no mussel left. It was totally dried up and no mussel was there. There were five or six and they were all like that. The calamari and other fish in the rice were also very overdone and the rice itself was too done also. The shrimp on top were cooked separately and just right. The dish was also so spicy that after a few bites I could taste little other than spice. I was disappointed in it as everything else was so good. We will for sure be back, but won't have the paella again. I feel like this could be a great restaurant with a bit more skill by the chef, but is very good as is. The people we have had as servers have been excellent.“

“We enjoyed the steaks, sampled several sides and deserts. Everything was delicious!!! My favorite was the bread with the cheese and honey, I could have made a meal out of it alone. The beer cheese and the pimento, country ham wontons were delicious as well. Several Broadbent products were incorporated into the selections. All of those were outstanding. Great Experience! Loved our waitress and beautiful atmosphere!“

“love the fact it's an old house, we sat down and service was great and fast. Best burger I've had in a long time, got the bistro burger. little bummed there's no kid menu but we made it work. my Fiance got the Henry Bain burger and she loved it as well. We got the back berry cobbler and it was good too. Definitely eat here again. 10/10“

“We went tonight for husband's birthday. We had a great dinner. Everything was delicious. Our waitress was Cassandra. She was great! If we needed ANYTHING she got it in a timely manner. She had several tables but she was on top of her game!“

“My mother and I ate here and had something called the pho soup. She had the chicken and I had the p3? It had meatballs and steak in it and was delicious. I added a little bit of spice, but not too much. The prices were decent and not too expensive. Service was a little iffy, not sure if it’s just the younger crowd as they were not very attentive at refills but were nice. Otherwise, we will be back in three or four months, may try some other dishes.“

“THE best in town, hands down. My family eat a lot of Mexican food and there’s nowhere in town as good as Los Volcanes and the price is right as well. It’s cheaper than any of the more popular places.“

“Was driving through the area, and this quaint little place caught my eye. It wasn’t super busy, so my family and I decided to check it out, and we are glad we did. Family of 6 was sat immediately, and we ordered the Vegetable Tempura and Shrimp Tempura. Both were fresh, decadent, and piping hot. Alongside this we received a delicious broth soup, which was definitely nice after the cold day.

Our sushi came out fast, and one bite in, we ordered more rolls. They have different platters and even a sushi boat, so we ordered the basic platter along with an Alaskan, 2 Californias, and 2 Caterpillars, as well as a Tiger roll. Incredible. The servers were kind and knowledgeable about the rolls, and the chef was so sweet. If you’re driving by, it’s definitely worth the stop.“

I had the Brisket, mayo coleslaw and mashed potatoes. Great portion sizes and it tasted amazing. Not hard to see why they’ve been in business all these years that’s for sure!“
