“Me & my wife live in New Albany Indiana. It is a nice drive through the countryside just to visit the Home Plate Restaurant. We do this fairly often, I am sure everything is great but we always get the catfish platter. It is the best we have ever had. Highly recommend this Restaurant. Thank You.“
“This location is striving to overcome a bad 6 months mess earlier this year. Having an absentee owner, they live 50 miles away, was evident they managed by e-mail. Only after scathing FB comments did they actually close the store, thoroughly clean it up and reopen with an ENTIRE new crew. FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!The current management team is work diligently to right the ship, and they are doing a good job.The store is clean, bathrooms still need detailed attention. The staff is WAY more professional and courteous. The food is now served hot and is very tasty and fresh. PLEASE have someone fix the entry door, it drags!!!!!!!!! And it has been like this for years, no excuse!!!!!!!!!!!Folks, if you have been staying away for previous reasons, give it a GO again. You may be surprised at the improvement!“
“Service was top-notch. Greeted as soon as I walked in. Lunch specials were great. Includes a drink and rolls! I got the Chicken Sandwich Nashville Hot. Great taste not spicy in my opinion. It wasn't dressed (I would have said not dressed anyway) so you may want to ask for it to be dressed if you like it that way. Rolls (with cinnamon butter) were delicious! I definitely recommend this place.“
