“Had a wonderful experience at Brown Bear Bakery. The rhubarb bun was absolutely excellent — I love rhubarb and this was one of the best pastries I’ve had in a long time. Perfect balance of tart and sweet with a soft, fresh texture.

The everything bagel croissant was also fantastic and such a creative combination. Flaky, buttery, savory, and packed with flavor. Everything we tried tasted fresh and thoughtfully made.

Coffee was great as well, and the service really stood out. Everyone was genuinely friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Definitely a spot worth returning to.“

The pumpkin pie was so delicate and light (THESE ARE GOOD THINGS). Sometimes a pumpkin pie can be so heavy and too rich but this was effortless joy, airy and the flavor beat anything I’ve ever even attempted to make. “Love! My partner and I walked in and were warmly welcomed by friendly staff. (Seriously the most friendly and warm greeting I've had anywhere in a long time.) Between the two of us, we had a blueberry muffin, cinnamon bun, éclair, cream puff, spinach parmesan pastry and a pastry similar to a margherita. I also had a loose leaf chai which is available unsweetened.

I enjoyed all my pastries. The staff made sure I had a safe place to plug in my laptop and really went beyond to make sure we were comfortable.

I have to say the star of the show were the eclair and the creme puff. I've always loved these desserts in general because cream is divine to me. I usually kind of felt like choux is just meh. BUT the choux here is out of this world. I have never had anything like it, the texture is not chewy and bland as I'm used to. Here, it is as it should be, airy with a crisp outside.

My husband and daughters are cake people, me not so much. To me all cake taste like it's from a box. Boy, was I wrong! This is the best cake I have ever had. It was a double layer, 8 inch with basketweave and colorful flowers. The cake was so moist and dense....my favorite kind. I'm embarrassed to say how many "little" pieces I had.
