“Out of all the "fast food" fish places, this one is the best! Personally, I order the Fish and Clams when I go, you dont have to order that but you're also entitled to have a wrong opinion of the best thing to eat, Perfect place for a 3rd date, would willingly fight a goose in the parking lot to get inside if I had to, inside its exactly what you would expect... old people taking up all the tables like some sort of early dinner club, I believe I was the only person not wearing geriatric tennis shoes out of all of my visits there. I feel like the restaurant is slightly misleading because they dont actually have whale on the menu, it seems like basic white fish, the same as the old people inside (basic and white). Overall have went, have returned and Lord willing will return again.“

“We celebrated our anniversary here yesterday with a delicious lunch. Our server, Amanda, was so friendly and helpful! Hubby had the cod and fried oysters and declared the oysters were the best he ever had. My shrimp basket was loaded with huge shrimp and the Cajun fries were very good. We topped that great meal off with complimentary slices of strawberry and chocolate cheesecakes for our anniversary! We will definitely be back!“

“Our 1st time to dine at this fine establishment. My partner and I had to speak to the Manager,Michael, because we have never had service and food at this excellent level before. From the wonderful hostess all the way through the end. The staff worked as a team and made sure every guest felt special and never neglected. Our server anticipated every need we had. The prices were reasonable and we will definitely return in the future. We have been to several restaurants throughout the country and this one by far was unbelievable great service.“

Not only did they quote a couple dollars less per person than other local Mexican restaurants, but they also went out of their way to provide warmer trays and serving utensils. We had to pick up on a Friday night at 6pm, one of their busiest times for sure! The food was hot and delicious! Highly recommend for events as well as for usual, every day dining needs!“

“This place is a 10/10! The atmosphere and staff were AMAZING!! We came to Louisville for the day to find my wedding dress. After I said yes to the dress we decided to try Mussel and Burger Bar! They made my day 1000x extra special, took care of my food and drinks, and even gave me a platter of desserts to try! “Small eating area but that doesn’t matter to me. The food is delicious! I had the fresh crab cakes, fresh Brussels sprouts…omg amazing. I didn’t have room to eat the fresh asparagus and I ordered a California cobb salad with jumbo shrimp and fresh lobster claw meat with avocado which I will have for lunch tomorrow. I placed my order online late last night when I read about the fresh crab and scheduled to pick it up at 4 today. He cooked it all right there in front of me, everything fresh and tasty. Pleasant and clean atmosphere, no fishy smells, like many seafood restaurants. The Staff are all awesome! All are friendly and make you feel welcome and important, going out of their way to be friendly. The Manager always comes to the table to see how we are enjoying our experience. Dine inside or outside on the covered patio. There seems to always be something going on in the courtyard to keep you entertained while your food is being prepared. They had a couple of soups options and a dessert bar and several ice cream options. Will definitely return when I'm in the mood for Chinese! “Long John Silver's is a food item that when one craves it there's no option but Long John Silver's. I enjoy the taste occasionally with their sides of green beans and coleslaw. Louisville has fewer locations now since Long John Silver's has changed owners over the last decade and no longer a Yum! Brands business. There is no Long John Silver's near where I live, so I drove 20 mi to LaGrange, KY one night when I was craving the product. The staff there on a Sunday night were extremely kind, courteous and patient as I considered menu options. I enjoyed the whitefish, the cod and green beans and coleslaw. A 40 mi round trip is a bit far for Long John Silver's, but I did enjoy dining there and experiencing the excellent staff on that Sunday evening. I don't know the story behind why Yum! Brands sold Long John Silver's, but I don't think the subsequent owners have succeeded in maintaining the brand.“
