Chicken Wings near Edgewood

“(Tw: this is a bias review) This place is magical? The manager that sings through the kitchen is energetic every time I visit. The lobby is taken care of (most of the time) but the drive thru is slow at times. The food is a little dry or soggy (it varies every week) but the mash potato makes up for it. The sides are probably the best items on the menu beside the specials every month. For maybe some upgrades, they should clean the restrooms better, decrease the price of sides (a large side costs more than a sandwich by itself), and SALT THE FRIES !!!! Im telling yall rn, dont go to the restaurant once it hits 10. Ong it mostly smells horrible, but the food is even worse at that time. (These arent recent events, these happened throughout the year)“

“Wed, 2/28/24, Management told one of our trivia team members that she is no longer welcome because she spoke to trivia host and he felt threatened by her. She talked to host after trivia and told him she thought the questions we no longer "general knowledge" trivia. While her remarks may have been harsh, we feel she should have been warned that her behaviour would not be tolerated in the future but not forbidden to return to play trivia. Our trivia team spends 140.00 to 160.00 each Wednesday, not to mention the amount of tips the server was making (30 to 50 dollars). She also told management team that host drinks too much during trivia and they denied that. By the hosts own admission over the microphone, he has asked people to stop sending him drinks because "I'm getting drunk guys". She was told he is allowed 1 alcoholic beverage while doing trivia. WHO HAS EVER HAD A JOB WHERE THEY ARE ALLOWED TO DRINK ALCOHOL?? We will probably NOT be coming back to trivia if all of our team members are not welcome. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR TRIVIA....WHICH I HAD SELECTED ORIGINALLY!!“

“Just did a to go order, I ordered a Black and Blue burger and small fries. After I get home, low and behold NO BLUE CHEESE on my burger. I expect this from a fast food chain but not this restaurant. Very disappointed. It will be quite a while before I go back. I eat at Wild Mike's once a week. How can you screw something up so easy ?!?!“

“I’ve been there many times and anytime I have out of state guests we always take them there! And when guests return, the first thing they ask is “Can we go to that Knotty place on the hill to eat”. Now we call it the Naughty Place on The Hill because every meal is amazing, crab boil and the naughty Bloody Mary is well amazing and Naughty! Staff is amazing as well!“

“My family is in the Union location once a week. We are dining in on Wednesday or getting carry out. Consistently delicious. Clean location. With the best staff members. We always feel welcomed and like we are apart of a family. We are so lucky to have a neighborhood spot like this. The food is absolutely delicious. Meatballs, Hot and Spicy, and Wings are our favorite items. More importantly (not really but it is this Dads treat of the week) are their House Beers. The Strong’s Lager and Brick Oven IPA are so good. My week treat is when I get to have a beer while waiting on my carry out on Thursdays. Great job guys. Keep it up!“

“Great place for great food and a nice friendly environment. A bit more laid-back than their bigger competitor. Lots of TVs for March Madness. We were a party of 8 and got in and out in a bit over an hour. The place was busy, but not packed.“

“After seeing a few of their drivers around Independence, I decided to try Snappy Tomato and ordered online for delivery. I typically prefer carry-out, but hey, whatever. I chose a medium “Bacon Ranch” thin crust and a medium “Snapperoni” on traditional as variety truly is the spice of life. This was on a Friday night and the pizza arrived within 30-35 minutes, snappy indeed. Things really started looking up when the friendly driver handed me my order and the combined pies had a decent weight to them, in pizza this is always a good sign. Upon initial inspection both pies were hot, had just the right amount of toppings and baked to a perfect golden glow. In fact, for a moment as I simultaneously opened each box I thought I caught the sound of ethereal choir voices harmoniously rising in the background. Without hesitation I grabbed a slice of each and unsurprisingly both were absolutely delicious, tasting just as amazing as they looked. All the toppings were fresh, the cheese chewy and satisfying, and piled upon quality sauce and a perfectly cooked, delicious crust. The taste took me back to the 1980s-90s when, and I’m sorry if you’re too young to have experienced this, our go-to pizza places just tasted better. Rightly so, Snappy Tomato has become my new favorite local pizza place and I will be ordering again. Thanks!“

“Our first stop off the plane to get dinner, we were starving from a long day of travel. The staff was very friendly, famous for wings - that is what we ordered and absolutely recommend. So crispy and delicious! Atmosphere is family friendly and welcoming.“

“Thick, crunchy, flaky, golden, crispy are all the key words I'd use to describe their chicken batter. It's pretty much perfection in my mind. Their sauces are also well above average with plenty of options across the sweet, savory and spicy range. Cincinnati is full of great restaurants and this one is definitely among the best in the Fried Chicken game. Also when you dine in, in my experience the chicken comes out so hot it burns your fingers, which in my opinion is a good thing, I don't want chicken that's been under a heat lamp and here I've only ever gotten chicken straight from the fryer to my table in what seems like 60 seconds or less. “We have had really great pizza from this location the past few times we've ordered. We order carry-out and each time has been fresh and cooked perfectly. My husband actually wanted the pizza from this location for Father's Day because it has been consistently good. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and the pizza was great once again! “I would like to thank the gentleman who works at this Papa John”s that helped the young lady who was having car trouble. You are a blessing and you touched so many lives with your humanity.
It’s very hard to find people who will help others.
So, I was at work and my co-worker sister had an issue with her vehicle. She just happened to be at this Papa John”s parking lot. That’s just tip of the iceberg.
So, her car was running hot. She also had a child in the car. My co-worker, was in panic , of course. Not only did she have a child in the car but they had to be to the hospital for a very important appointment.
Y’all, this is how good God is:
My co-worker called this Papa John”s and explained the situation. The car was running hot.
The young man that was working at the time . Went outside and helped.

The moral of the story is not only did the young man help my co-worker sister, but he help the child make it to their appointment, he helped my co-worker and his family by relieving their stress.
God put people in the right places at the right time.
I really appreciate you young man.
May God continue to bless you and you keep using your good heart.

So after another 40 minute drive we arrived at this location. The staff was very friendly! They continued to put out fresh pizzas even with our arrival 30 minutes prior to the buffet closing. Thank you Ft. Wright Snappy Tomato! The food was delicious and we greatly appreciate your friendly staff after the incident at the Bright location.“

“Pizza is great, we love the wings and house made ranch, all around favorite in our house. Sadly I’ve stopped ordering because it keeps getting delivered by door dash and arrives cold. One time the delivery person had a van full of people with my food just sitting on the floor boards. That’s gross. If I could be 100% sure I was getting a jets driver I’d order again but not worth the chance with the price of this place. Nothing against door dash but I don’t order my food from them for a reason, there’s no one to moderate the cleanliness of the car or person.“
