The quality of our local steak and shakes have significantly improved along with the staff. Much cleaner, tastes better, and even seems more filling than it used to. On top of that the new company policies like banning microwaves, beef tallow for their fried goods, and grass fed beef for the burgers. (Update) Steak ’n Shake continues to deliver good food in a clean, well-maintained restaurant. The Frisco Burger, cheese fries, and shakes are still favorites, and the cook deserves credit for preparing everything so well. Prices have increased, and the dine-in experience has lost some of its traditional charm. Despite some issues with automated ordering and a lack of service, the food quality remains good.
