“I love this spot! When I need something quick for dinner or just have a taste for their fish sandwiches. This place is always my go to Chelle is amazing! Customer service is always A1!! She’s gonna have the cocktail sauce for my husband, shrimp dinners, and my extra hot sauce for my fish sandwich. Lol With a smile! I’m sorry you don’t get that much on the west side!

“Back Deck BBQ was seriously incredible! The ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender with the perfect smoky flavor, and the pulled pork was juicy, flavorful, and piled high. The macaroni & cheese was rich and creamy, and the yams had the perfect sweet homemade taste. But the baked beans absolutely stole the show for me. Thick, smoky, loaded with flavor, and easily some of the best baked beans I’ve ever had. Definitely one of my favorite BBQ spots now and hands down one of the best BBQ in Louisville, KY. Can’t wait to go back!“

“The owner and his staff are very friendly. The restaurant is really clean on the inside. The first time I ordered, I got a rib tip dinner with greens and Mac and cheese. The second time, I only ordered rib tips and one of the staff asked me did I want sides. I told them no because I had sides at home. I let them know that the Mac and cheese was not so great and the owner came out and apologized for that and gave me a free slice of cake to make up. I thought that was really nice of him. He told me that he appreciated my feedback. I still visit every weekend and I get rib tips, greens and potato salad now and a slice of cake but I gotta get it early before it sells out.“

“We ordered two dinners for takeout this week and everything was phenomenal! The food (chicken and dumplings and a ruckus burger) were hot and flavorful and the desserts (banana pudding and caramel apple cobbler) were absolutely delicious! Great pricing too! 10 outta 10 - Definitely recommend!“

“The service is always great, but the food is top notch!!! They’ve catered my two Daughters weddings, and have done a wonderful job. Everyone loves the pork barbecue, but the favorite is the loaded mashed potato’s.“
