“Great food, huge portions, never disappointed! We go there about 4x year and we always have good service and food! Spinach and artichoke dip is top notch, a little small portion for the dip, but it is wonderful! The jambalaya is amazing and this time I tried the "great white" pizza--fantastic! Catch it on happy hour and it is only $6! Well worth a try!“

“Pretty nice little spot. They were out of pretty much all the food at the truck by the time we got there at 8pm on Friday night. The bar staff was amazing. The beer was pretty good too. Nice spot to stop along the way if you're going to multiple bars.“

“Decided to stop here on our trip with our 2 kids, 5 and 3. The staff were all very friendly and the food and beer were great. We used the QR code to order food and drinks from my phone and it worked great. We tried the dill pickle pizza and the kids had chicken tenders and fries, and it was all fantastic. The staff brought our kids a paper with a scavenger hunt on it. It was not easy, even for an adult, but my kids loved it and it gave them something to do. I found myself looking around for the stuff just as much as my kids. The owner ended up helping us find a couple of the items and he was super friendly and talked to us for a bit. I would definitely go back!“

Wooden Cask Brewing Company Brewery • $$
629 York St, Newport - 9.51 miles

“Great selection of drinks. A full menu of at least 15 on tap plus mixed drinks. Beards and bellies also makes good bar food. We always get the bread pudding, the chocolate and caramel are heavenly. The beer cheese and pretzels are also good if you want something more salty than sweet. Good selection of soda for my husband who doesn't drink. Good place for families. Never had to wait for a table like going here in the summer too as there are picnic tables outside. Smoking is allowed. Wheelchair and stroller friendly.“

“Local brewery and distillery close to Findlay Market. Focus on German style beer and clear spirits like rum and vodka. You can see the production area from the inside. An outdoor patio is available for warmer spring days to come. The menu is bar friendly. The Loaded Tots were very good. Unfortunately, I ate them all before, I thought to take a picture. ?“

Esoteric Brewing Co. Brewery •
918 E McMillan St, Cincinnati - 11.45 miles

“While visiting my daughter & son-in-law in Cincinnati (from San Diego), they took me to one of their favorite places, Esoteric. It was in the middle of the day on a rainy Friday. It was more of an order and take out kinda day. However, we ate in the restaurant. I ordered the cauliflower, kimchi and a Tequila Tango. The cauliflower was tasty, light and delicious. The kimchi had that little "kick" (spicy) but not too much. The ambience was casual and welcoming. I was here during a previous visit, in the evening and it had a larger crowd I but did not eat food. I would highly recommend this place.“

Samuel Adams Cincinnati Taproom Brewery • $$

“The outdoor seating at this location looks amazing. I wish it would have been warm enough to take advantage of it. We sat at the bar and ordered a flight of taproom exclusives. They also have the staple Sam Adam's beers you are used to seeing along with a small food menu. The inside has plenty of seating and the service was great!“

“Very cool little spot in a “food truck park” on the river. Not busy on a Tuesday night but a cool place with great tap selections. Plus, they have a beer cooler for to-go options. Not a lot of seating inside (two small tables) but it was great and there are picnic tables and seating along the river galore.“

“My Mr and I had some time to kill and wanted to grab a drink before the show (at the MegaCorp). We walked by Wooden Cask and with no hesitation, went in. So..it's been YEARS since we've been to the Levee and they definitely revamped this area. More stores, restaurants and libations! They too partake in the Banks atmosphere. Walk around the area with your drinks. This place is very small but has so much to offer. I've been to their original brewery (loved it), I was impressed that they've up their game. Now their serve their craft beers on tap, wine, mock tails, seltzers, bourbon, and food. Their food menu is very small. Flatbreads, wings and sandwiches. We didn't have time to try but I know we will be back. Overall a great experience. The bartenders were cool and pricing was definitely reasonable.“
