“We were visiting the Florence area for 3 days & found this place online when trying to find pet friendly restaurants in the area. We enjoyed our meals so much that we ended up eating here 2 of the 3 days.. I got their Fish & Chips both days (no complaints) & their hush puppies are some of the best I've ever had. Will definitely stop here again the next time we're in the area.“

“I was looking for a diner in Covington KY and came across PeeWee's. After reading reviews and the fabulous menu, decided to try it and so happy we did on a busy Sunday! Friendly guests greeted us in the lot and we felt warm hospitality as soon as we walked in. You could tell the owner, PeeWee loves what he does and that customers love him back. The corned beef hash special was excellent and all of our selections were well prepared and flavorful. What a hidden gem!!!!“

“My favorite new neighborhood bar! Very reasonably priced beer and mixed drinks. Warm cozy feel and a spacious outdoor patio. Karaoke on Sunday and Wednesday nights. Plenty of parking. They have some appetizers that are very good for a small bites menu. Mitch, Elizabeth and April are all great friendly bartenders always up for conversation. They have a ample televisions and will honor your request to put on whatever games are happening currently. Stop in! Right near the CSX train trestle on Pike Street.Vegetarian options: They offer air fried chicken wings, jalapeno poppers, potato wedges etcParking: Plenty of street parking for free meters are turned off at that time I usually arrive. “Kendall, our server was wonderful! Answered all of our questions and spot on for delivery of our food. My problem was our seating. Our reservation was for 5 pm, we arrived 15 minutes early and were promptly seated just outside an empty private room that they seated 6 people who became very loud! And then seated another group of 4 on our opposite side. I'm checking out this mostly empty restaurant scratching my head and wondering why.“

“What great hospitality! As soon as we walked in was greeted by our guess the owner! He was very polite all the tables were packed full and he went over and cleaned off a table for us. We went in for karaoke night we didn’t eat but the food looked delicious. We will come back soon!“

“Absolutely delicious! I had the Apple Walnut Salad, and I added salmon. My husband had the Cajun Bourbon Filet Tips with mixed vegetables. My husband used to be an assistant chef, so I rarely find steak out anywhere that I even rometly like as well as his, he let me have a bite, this came very close! The only negative I can say is that the potion was a little on the small side. We will definitely go back.“

“I went to lunch with a large family group. There was plenty of space for all of us and it was quiet enough that we could all talk and hear the conversation. I wasn't very hungry so I just got the loaded fries appetizer. The toppings were good but the fries themselves were a bit over cooked and chewy. I did get to try a bite of the fish though and that was really tasty. If I'm ever on that side of town again I would absolutely order the fish and chips.“

“My first time there and was treated like I was a regular patron. The bartender even cut herself preparing my shot of gin and turned it into a humorous accident and we laughed about it. Other patrons were friendly and very welcoming. I definitely will return and may become my new favorite spot.“

“Stopped in here on Sunday for the first time with my wife. The bar was full and there were numerous customers at tables. There was only one employee bartending and serving also. Tommy provided super fast service. He was working his butt off and even made the time to ensure we were satisfied. This is how service should be! Food was great too and runner was also working hard. “Had the Spinach Wrap for breakfast and it was fabulous! They had a buffet but I opted to eat off the menu. (We travel quite a bit and I was tired of the same buffet menu).Servers were excellent, exceptionally friendly and helpful. I would go back for that breakfast wrap!“

“I went here to see a local band, Southern Highway. Great band. I was a touch peckish. And I'm not a drinker anymore. Lo and behold, this place has a pretty impressive menu. I'm a bit of a doubting Thomas until proved wrong. And they serve food late!!!! I believe the grill was open until 1am?? Service was fine, the place is a bit of the late 80s but clean. But the food was shockingly good. I had chili and a chicken tenders meal. I hate Raisin canes. Underdone tasteless chicken and junk sauce that costs extra. I'll take peecoxs any day of the week. And I'll Have it late if I want too. That's a rare find these days. And they have great bands. $5 cover, but hey, help support local musicians right? Glad I found this place/“
