“I really enjoy going to this Skyline. I am always greeted when we enter the door and all the servers are friendly. We are quickly served, and the food is brought to the table promptly and accurately. You can hear how everyone in the store gets along, which makes for a good environment.“

“The San Francisco dog is vegan and so good. You wouldn't think hummus and guac would be good but it is. The tots are even great. Oniony and flavorful. Service is great. The place is a hole in the wall in the middle of houses. Off the beaten path of mainstrasse. Not too far though. Just a couple blocks. I bet it is a popular local spot.“

“I had never been to a Skyline Chili. I proudly declared to the manager who rushed over to convert me to the Cincinnati area famous chili. He explained the differences between skyline and other types of chili and some of the nuances of the chili like we were in some sort of quasi wine tasting. Personally I was 100% there for it. I ended up ordering 3 coney dogs, one with jalapeño cheese on it to go. It was late and I had to get back to my hotel, people were waiting on me, or else I would have stayed and enjoyed the quaint diner on the end of a strip mall that serves chili late at night…. The atmosphere was a clean place that oddly reminded me of the 90’s but was well taken care of. As I returned to my hotel I ate all three coney dogs quickly. They. Were. Delicious. The jalapeño cheese was maybe not as spicy as I would have expected but they put hot sauce in the bag that was well used. Overall, I can see the appeal of the chili place, for a chili that doesn’t have beans in it.Food was great! Staff was extremely helpful! This skyline chili is open late!“

“Stopped by here after the Bengals lost to the Texans, food was excellent, service was outstanding, & the restaurant was clean. Waitress was very nice & helpful, she was so gracious enough to sell my brother in law & I a full set of the Skyline Bengals cups, we really appreciated that. Will stop in here again when I'm up that way. Thanks Skyline staff.“

“Unique restaurant with an environment unlike anything else. Food was very good with unique flavor profile. The chili has an interesting cinnamon sweetness that was good and lots of cheese aided a classic coney dog. Service was good and friendly in a diner setting. If you're in the Cincinnati area, it's worth a stop at one of these locations.“

“I haven't been reviewing much but, I needed to do this one because I haven't. Went inside for a dinner and continue to a fair. Walk in. They tell us to sit down. Order a 3-way. Came out great. As well as chili cheese fries. Did pretty good on that too and ordered a Sprite. But, it concerns me that you can't eat outdoors if it is a nice sunny day or breeze is just right. But overall great staff and service. Partial clean. Food is always hot and doesn't cool down for a while. Don't really disappoint me. Recommend to try this place if you can! It's great for kids, but never seen anyone outdoors. Overall 4/5 and looking forward to seeing more!“

“I went here after class and haven’t had them in a while. For starters I walked in and they were playing my favorite song. 10/10 right there and the food was so fresh especially the fries. The fries were so hot and my milkshake was so good. It is expensive for one person so I probably wouldn’t bring a whole family here but it was very hot and worth it as a treat.“

“Went here when were were in town and I was unsurprised. I heard reviews saying that the food was amazing and it is a Cincinnati staple. So I had to see I had to see for myself. I went with me and my family and I had an idea what to expect. Since it was my first time, the lady serving our table helped greatly on what to order. She recommended the Chilitos, and I ordered 2 of them, and I also ordered chili fries later on. The food came out quick (so did our drinks) and the food was amazing. I see why they keep their chili recipe secret, it was amazing! Can't have anyone running around with this recipe. The Chilito itself was really good, but my only complaint was probably the portion size; but that's a corporate issue and not a restaurant one. The chili fries were hot and crispy and the chili with it made it even better. Overall It had a very nice environment and I would recommend to others.“

“This is one of the most unique and delicious chili's I've ever had. It has a sweeter taste than other chili's, but it truly does work. Prices are reasonable and they have table service if you sit in. They also have a drive thru.“

“First time here. It was a very pleasant experience. We had a very conscientious waitress who helped us make our choices. We both thought our food was very good. I ordered deluxe chili with the mountain of cheese on the side, and hubby ordered the chili with spaghetti noodles. 3 way chili.“

“For those that know, Skyline chili has a little more kick than Gold Star (GS is a little sweeter). Had a few coneys, very good and they never skimp on the cheese. Got a side of fries and a side of chili too. All was great. Service was also very good.“

“One of my favorite skylines around. They are always open for indoor dining, so you can enjoy a nice hot meal no matter how cold it is outside. Cannot say the same about the gold star next door, who still wants to live in the year 2020 and have everything drive through only. Thank you Skyline for being open when others aren't!!“
