“Cute place with great customer service. This was our first Skyline Chili experience, and it was great. The Cleveland Browns fan was extremely welcoming. It felt like he went out of his way to make a great first experience. We did Togo cause we were exhausted from King’s Island. Waitress inside seemed really sweet too. Love the esthetic and the train. The “chili” reminds me of Rochester meat hot sauce on garbage plates (from back home), so plan on doing my own Skyline Chili night next time I have family over. So, they can have somewhat of an experience, for many of them will probably never visit Cincinnati area.“

“Our first time there. Driving across Ohio and had to try this famous Cincinnati staple. We sat at the bar. Hard young workers and friendly team. If I were to offer one little tip - the chili should be steaming hot. Ours was ok but not as hot (temperature wise) in my opinion. Very clean store! We’ll be back for sure.“

“I'm having a hard time believing I haven't reviewed this Skyline location before.. Buckle up folks, this might be a little lengthy..

Where to start.. Maybe 43 years ago when I sampled Skyline Chili for the very first time at this family's original location across town??

I can't even imagine how many times I've enjoyed a classic 3-Way with a plain Coney (aka a Chili Weiner with Cheese) or two at this location.. It's likely in the hundreds of times if not more..

What has been consistent is the quality of the food and service, as well as the cleanliness of the restaurant..

I've eaten Skyline Chili all over Ohio, at a handful of SW Florida locations, and even a location or two in Indiana and Northern Kentucky, but always look forward to returning to my home store, which I visited for lunch on Friday, 31 July 2026..

I ordered a classic 3-Way and the Chili Weiner with Cheese, both topped with Skyline's signature Extreme Habanero Shredded Cheese..

Pro Tip.. If the restaurant will accommodate it, drizzle your authentic Skyline hot 🔥 sauce on the chili before the cheese is added.. It's a game changer.. At least it was for me..

Anywho, just like every other time since 1983, I had a great experience at this Skyline location and the store before it.. The food and service were fantastic and the place was clean as could be, particularly the steam table where all the food prep takes place..

I'm already looking forward to my next visit and I'll add additional pics to this review from previous visits at a later date..“

“Skyline Chili is probably the peak fast food experience. Kitchen right out in the open so you know there aren't any tricks, waitress comes to your table and lets you know what's up, menu as a simple as any, so there's no confusion on what it's about. The unique Greek take on classic chili tastes great, and it offers a unique culinary experience.“

“Went in for lunch this last week and both the waitress and food made my day. Ordered a BABC (Big @$$ Bowl of Chili) and a regular garden salad, a single loaded cheese coney and a lemon water. I was not disappointed. The aroma of the Skyline chili filled my nose when she brought it out, and the cheese coney with onions and a strip of mustard may sound funky, but it makes the taste buds happy. In fact, I had the salad first (with ranch) and was very pleasantly surprised at how FRESH the vegetables and lettuce were. I would give the food and service experience 5 out of 5 for the pleasantness and friendly demeanor. I was traveling solo, but was still treated like I was a large party and important and that says a lot about customer service and the wait staff. Keep it up!“

“One of my favorite skyline locations! Our server was so sweet to us and really took great care of us. Can’t remember her name but we were pretty hungry after a day at Kings Island and she was very patient and attentive! We live out in Anderson but chose this location to eat because the food is better and the service is the best!!“

“I was in Cincinnati for a convention. So I had to try authentic skyline chili and had the 4-way. Spaghetti beans, cheese and of course their signature chili. For me it was worth it. I enjoyed it and now I am a fan of Cincinnati chili. The staff were friendly and attentive, and that made it an even better visit.“

You can never go wrong with choosing skyline. Within the past two years the menu options have changed and there's a good variety to choose from.
