“Our first time there. Driving across Ohio and had to try this famous Cincinnati staple. We sat at the bar. Hard young workers and friendly team. If I were to offer one little tip - the chili should be steaming hot. Ours was ok but not as hot (temperature wise) in my opinion. Very clean store! We’ll be back for sure.“

“For sure one of the better hotdog places around if you’ve never had it, make sure you try it whenever you get around especially when you are in Ohio they sell a can of it at like Walmart and it is nowhere near as good as the actual restaurant if I don’t get the restaurant, I just don’t get it I like the restaurants food way more and then the stuff you can buy at Walmart“

“First off the service was top-notch. The food was great but the portion size was small compared to other locations. The Chili sandwiches had tons of cheese but hardly no Chili! I was very disappointed, it was like a cheese sandwich. The new burritos were very disappointing. The nachos were very good. Overall four stars.“

“It had been many years since we had been to the Root Beer Stand so it was high time to come back. It had grown a fair amount since our last visit which was great to see. The place was really busy but they really are streamlined well and there was not a long wait time. There is a bit of indoor seating but a vast majority of the seating is at picnic tables outside around the area. Everything looked great all around the grounds although you must remember you are outside and there are a fair amount of bees around so beware of that. I had a footlong chili dog and fries which were excellent especially the chili dog. Also had to have a root beer float which was legendary as usual as their locally sourced root beer really is delicious. This is definitely an awesome place to go on a summer day for sure and it gets my highest recommendation.“

“Skyline Chili is probably the peak fast food experience. Kitchen right out in the open so you know there aren't any tricks, waitress comes to your table and lets you know what's up, menu as a simple as any, so there's no confusion on what it's about. The unique Greek take on classic chili tastes great, and it offers a unique culinary experience.“

“Went in for lunch this last week and both the waitress and food made my day. Ordered a BABC (Big @$$ Bowl of Chili) and a regular garden salad, a single loaded cheese coney and a lemon water. I was not disappointed. The aroma of the Skyline chili filled my nose when she brought it out, and the cheese coney with onions and a strip of mustard may sound funky, but it makes the taste buds happy. In fact, I had the salad first (with ranch) and was very pleasantly surprised at how FRESH the vegetables and lettuce were. I would give the food and service experience 5 out of 5 for the pleasantness and friendly demeanor. I was traveling solo, but was still treated like I was a large party and important and that says a lot about customer service and the wait staff. Keep it up!“

“One of my favorite skyline locations! Our server was so sweet to us and really took great care of us. Can’t remember her name but we were pretty hungry after a day at Kings Island and she was very patient and attentive! We live out in Anderson but chose this location to eat because the food is better and the service is the best!!“

“Ordered online twice on our visit to Cincinnati. Never had this style of chili before but it was tasty! Really enjoyed this local favorite and will search online how to make a copycat of this meal when I return home! We don't have Skyline where I'm from.“

“I was in Cincinnati for a convention. So I had to try authentic skyline chili and had the 4-way. Spaghetti beans, cheese and of course their signature chili. For me it was worth it. I enjoyed it and now I am a fan of Cincinnati chili. The staff were friendly and attentive, and that made it an even better visit.“

You can never go wrong with choosing skyline. Within the past two years the menu options have changed and there's a good variety to choose from.

Josh (I believe the manager) greets every person with a friendly welcome.
Cullen was a great server. He listened closely to all the needs and wants at my table. He is great at his job!“

“Great place, great food, wait staff recognizes my group and has no problem remembering our choices. I only didn't give this a perfect score as sometimes it gets very busy and they seem to have trouble with managing the extended area during those periods. Still kinda miss the old building but this was a definitely welcome and needed upgrade!“
