“This Skyline is larger than most. I normally Order a 5 Way Chili. For you out of towners, a 5 Way includes spaghetti, chili, onions, beans, and cheese. This isn’t your normal chili with this ingredient combo. Our grandkids love it. Today, I ordered a Greek Salad with grilled chicken. You can also get Buffalo chicken with your salad. It’s a really good salad with greens, black olives, pepperocinis, feta, tomatoes topped with a tangy Greek salad dressing“

“It had been many years since we had been to the Root Beer Stand so it was high time to come back. It had grown a fair amount since our last visit which was great to see. The place was really busy but they really are streamlined well and there was not a long wait time. There is a bit of indoor seating but a vast majority of the seating is at picnic tables outside around the area. Everything looked great all around the grounds although you must remember you are outside and there are a fair amount of bees around so beware of that. I had a footlong chili dog and fries which were excellent especially the chili dog. Also had to have a root beer float which was legendary as usual as their locally sourced root beer really is delicious. This is definitely an awesome place to go on a summer day for sure and it gets my highest recommendation.“

“Very flavorful skyline, not many places are not able for that. Waitstaff was very kind and apologized profusely when the sweet tea wasn't sweet because they were out and she hadn't realized. It wasn't the end of the world I just picked a different drink. All drinks taste good with skyline. Only peeve was navigating the way to there. You have to go towards the Home Depot or Hooters at the forst, turn like you're going past Home Depot at the second light, then make another turn down a no outlet type of road with no street lights to see anything. Otherwise once you're in the parking lot, you're fine“

Everything I had was fresh and hit the spot perfectly. I especially loved the salad topped with those crunchy crackers, which added a great texture to every bite. It is exactly the kind of satisfying comfort food I look for. I will definitely be back soon.“

“One of my favorite skyline locations! Our server was so sweet to us and really took great care of us. Can’t remember her name but we were pretty hungry after a day at Kings Island and she was very patient and attentive! We live out in Anderson but chose this location to eat because the food is better and the service is the best!!“

The food is made to order, the portions are generous, and the burgers have that real classic taste. The fries are always a favorite, and the service is usually quick and friendly. “I was in Cincinnati for a convention. So I had to try authentic skyline chili and had the 4-way. Spaghetti beans, cheese and of course their signature chili. For me it was worth it. I enjoyed it and now I am a fan of Cincinnati chili. The staff were friendly and attentive, and that made it an even better visit.“

“Favorite chili place in Cincinnati, always has been! Employees at the drive thru were friendly and quick with the order.

Parking: If you go through the drive thru, it doesn't really connect to the parking lot. So, if you get your food at the drive thru and want to eat in your car like a heathen (how we do it), you have to go back on the road, make an immediate right back into the lot.Enjoy.“

You can never go wrong with choosing skyline. Within the past two years the menu options have changed and there's a good variety to choose from.

Josh (I believe the manager) greets every person with a friendly welcome.
Cullen was a great server. He listened closely to all the needs and wants at my table. He is great at his job!“

“Super surprised very flavorful chilidogs!! Loved the whole idea the dogs are smaller than a normal gog but they were cooked perfect and the chili was excellent loade with gobs of cheese. Next time I'm in Cinci I going back. Oh yeah the jalapeño cheese was perfect...Just a little extra kick in between mild and medium hot...perfect!!“

“Great place, great food, wait staff recognizes my group and has no problem remembering our choices. I only didn't give this a perfect score as sometimes it gets very busy and they seem to have trouble with managing the extended area during those periods. Still kinda miss the old building but this was a definitely welcome and needed upgrade!“

“Just visited this location tonight. I had a bacon chicken ranch wrap and an order of their new nachos. Let me just tell you they were extremely polite and professional. And that wrap was hands down the best I've ever had. Idk their names but I wish I could tell them thank you and to the managers working that night. Great job!!“
