“Brought my son and his friend here to kill some time and let them have some fun. I had told the bartender (Katie) that I would let her know when we were done bc we were sitting outside but I didn’t want our stuff thrown away. We went to play and came back to our table being cleaned off. I let the server know we weren’t finished. She apologized and Katie remade our drinks and had a fresh batch of shrimp tacos made even though he only had one left. Not one employee we encountered had a bad attitude. They all seemed genuinely happy to be working even if they were stuck inside on this beautiful day. Thank you to this entire staff for giving me and the boys a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back!!!“

“I stumbled upon this place one night while looking for something to do on a weeknight & was thrilled this place was open until 4am! Although it’s name might be a bit deceiving, it’s actually a bar. At first I thought it was a motel/hotel until I pulled into the parking lot, I wasn’t sure.

There were only a handful of people there at the time, but the atmosphere was still very welcoming, even the bar staff. The bartender was friendly & entertaining, unlike most I’m used to & he even mixed me some creative custom drinks.

Rented the pool table for $5/hour. Great price & played some skilled people!

“This is a nice place to shoot pool and hang out. It has that neighborhood bar feel, which is really nice nowadays. There is 6 pool tables and there is plenty of room to shoot and have fun. The lady that was bartending was very nice and all of the people that were in there, on a Monday night, were really friendly!“

“Marmaduke's a well hidden (no signage) local neighborhood bar with cheap, good drinks, friendly bartenders, some bar food and usually NASCAR, Sundays, UofL / UofK games and free pool on sunday monday. With a pool tournament on thursdays. Late nights usually until 4am.“

For those of you looking for an NA option, they have a draft NA IPA that is top notch. Looks like they also have a stage for live music, check them out on social media for a schedule.“

“A great little spot that looks a little hole in the wall but is far from scummy. This place has great drinks at great prices (tequila sunrise is 4.75) and the pour is good too. The food is bar food but is honestly really good. This place quickly became my go to bar especially since it's open till 4am. Plenty of pool tables, video slots, darts both machine and standard, corn hole boards and one video golf machine. Has a smoking patio with a fan out back and is honestly just a chill place. There's Texas holdem poker nights as well if you look up RCPL.

Parking: Shares a parking lot with a few other places on the strip but out front there is plenty of parking even if the bingo hall is packed.“

“I have tried Indian food a couple times before (years ago), and did not like it. My husband loves Indian food, so we tried this restaurant for dinner. I cleaned my plate! Shrimp Tandoori was delicious, Naan, Tandoori Rito, Lamb Saag, Basmati Rice, Samosas, even the Chutney was wonderful, and let’s not forget Mango Lassi. The staff is also very friendly and attentive; we cannot wait to come back.“

The Mussels were great,we also had a taste of the queso and the guacamole which was really good it was served on plantains. My chicken tacos were great and my husband had the steak chimichurri all their food was really good!

“Very pleased with my experience. The beer and pizza were unique but also very nostalgic in many ways.

The beer on tap was delicious, I had the C4 Stout and I look forward to having it again soon. My pizza was the Cheeseburger, thick crust and I got it “Tim’s way”. The crust was a blast from the past due to it tasting JUST like 90’s era Pizza Hut, and their pepperonis were crispy and cup-like.

The service was fantastic and I am already planning my next visit. I didn’t grab a picture of my pizza because I was enjoying my beer a bit too much, but my friend got the large order of Meat Balls and they were an absolute spectacle so I snapped them.“

Hubby had the cod and fried oysters and declared the oysters were the best he ever had. My shrimp basket was loaded with huge shrimp and the Cajun fries were very good. We topped that great meal off with complimentary slices of strawberry and chocolate cheesecakes for our anniversary! We will definitely be back!“

“We had an excellent experience at drakes. our server was excellent. Olivia was sweet and helpful and just over all a very good server. she is an asset to the restaurant. we had the chicken sandwich, the fish tacos and the Buffalo mac and cheese. it was served quickly and was very good. we finished it off with a cookie and ice cream. it was all so good. such a good meal, we will absolutely be back. highly recommend this place.“

“Is there a place that you can give 12 stars? The food was PERFECT. I have never order3d a bologna sandwich from anywhere but this place and it was to die for. The menu was all the foods that I want to eat daily but shouldn't. The friendly people both staff and guests made me want to come back again and again. I dang karaoke. “Stopped here after a movie with some friends. It was an hour before closing so I expected worse but it wasn’t too bad. I took a risk with a 6 oz. sirloin (wasn’t entirely sure how good the steaks would be here since I’d never had a Chili’s steak) and it was actually pretty delicious. However this looked like the smallest 6 oz. sirloin I’d ever received in the many times I’ve ordered steak from other places in the past. I didn’t complain though and even tipped 22% at the end of my transaction. I would eat there again, except the dip trio I ordered didn’t leave me craving more. As a regular at authentic Mexican restaurants, this wasn’t the best queso I’ve ever had so would not recommend that. You can find much better alternatives elsewhere, so unless you’re not in a position to wait I’d pass the queso up. The guac I was served looked and even tasted good but taste wise, I’ve made it so much in the past that I’m a bit biased. I like mine better. This will get you by in a scrape though. It’s some of the better Tex-Mex guac I’ve tried. All in all my experience was positive.“
