“Brought my son and his friend here to kill some time and let them have some fun. I had told the bartender (Katie) that I would let her know when we were done bc we were sitting outside but I didn’t want our stuff thrown away. We went to play and came back to our table being cleaned off. I let the server know we weren’t finished. She apologized and Katie remade our drinks and had a fresh batch of shrimp tacos made even though he only had one left. Not one employee we encountered had a bad attitude. They all seemed genuinely happy to be working even if they were stuck inside on this beautiful day. Thank you to this entire staff for giving me and the boys a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back!!!“

“Smokey Bones is an oldie but goodie. Haven't been to one in a decade cuz didn't have one nearby. The mini nacho app was delicious and presented nicely. Chips were standing up. Looked like they had yummy cocktails but we didn't have any. We ordered the "grill" meal. It's literally served on a small grill that has charcoal in it and smoking. So cool. Had bbq ribs, chicken wings, grilled chicken, saisafe and steak. Small pieces. Nice to share! Also had wedge potatoes, peppers and onions. In the middle of grill was bowl of delicious sauce (not one of 4 found on table). Good value for that. Waitress was perfunctory not overly friendly. Nice and neat inside“

“Definitely a place to enjoy a good game, the staff are always friendly and willing to help you choose something you may want to try, they’ve started these game nights which are awesome!!! The staff do take request if it’s a slow game day. The managing staff are always ready to take care anything you may need. It’s one of my top go to’s!“

“Stopping from out of town, and the service was quick and accommodating even on a busy Saturday night. It was a little loud where we were next the stage and the hostess graciously helped us to a quieter table. The food was so delicious and came very quickly! Great experience all around.“

“The best Indian restaurant in Louisville! I’ve eaten at most of them and shalimar is always a level above. There is an authentic aromatic richness to their cuisine that leaves an impression. The service is wonderful and the atmosphere is warm. Simple and elegant at the same time. Great place to recommend to anyone who wants to try Indian for the first time.“

“I have had several of the Middle Eastern menu items multiple times. Without a doubt it’s one of the best places here in Louisville. If not the best. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are healthy. I need to try some of the Italian dishes. The owner used to work in a top rated Italian restaurant for 17 years.“

“I was craving a pina colada and this one hit the spot, it was busy but I was able to get a table right away, the sever was friendly and the food came fast, she told me they have live music everyday after 6pm. The food and atmosphere was delicious I will be back!“

“Best place in town to watch any type of games on TV. Anywhere you sit you have a great view of the game. Beer is cold and many varieties on tap and in bottles, I have never been disappointed with my food choice and have tried almost everything on the menu. “We always enjoy our experiences at Volare’. Fresh seafood dishes flown in each Friday for another one of their exquisite seafood entree’s. Large portions are in order and our favorites are the steak with bourbon glaze and salmon with a hot pepper sauce. Don’t forget to order their decadent desserts, even if you take it to go. “We come to Louisville once a year and ALWAYS make a reservation here! It is our favorite. We have been doing this for over 10 years and I am always excited to go here. My favorite is the Shrimp and Grits and other people have raved about the Pork Chop and steak. I do not think there is a bad choice here. I have never once not had a great meal! Our service has always been wonderful as well, yet this year it was lackluster. One time out of 10 is just a fluke this year i am sure.“

“We took our out of town guests yesterday. Our server Jessica was amazing! She really made our night! (If you are reading this Jessica, y’all/yins did a great job! Lol.) Everyone loved their cocktails. The pork chop was very tasty and perfectly cooked, loved the shrimp and grits… so flavorful! The salmon was also delicious! We had the cheese and hummus plate as a starter and I was not a fan. The hummus was gummy and had an odd flavor. The rest of our group didn’t mind it. I could have had the bruschetta as my meal… yum! For dessert we had the bread pudding and asked to have some bourbon to pour on top (so good!), the lava cake (wow) and the brûlée (coffee flavored and very nice). We were the last to leave and Jessica and the rest of the staff treated us if we had all the time in the world. We so appreciated that! Our experience was so special! Thank you!“

“We’ve loved Yen Ching for at least 15 years. The food is awesome and the staff are friendly and welcoming. We have tried the tofu with vegetables in garlic sauce, Mongolian beef, and beef with vegetables in garlic sauce. Wonton soup and Crab rangoon are the best around! “My wife and I had dinner with our youngest son earlier this evening. The service was friendly and helpful and the menu offered a ton of options. The food was SPECTACULAR! The yellow curry with shrimp was the best curry I’ve ever eaten! My wife raved about the Pad See Ew and our son loved his red curry, too. His cobb salad with an *incredible* ginger soy dressing was delicious. We will be returning to this wonderful, casual restaurant, and often. tl;dr the food is so, so, sooooo good“

“Wonderful Holiday dinner at Alchemy in Norton Commans last nite with superb service! 3 couples ordered a varied sampling of the menu from Picanha to Choripan to Empanadas to Cod, all exceptional. 100% satisfaction for everyone at the table. A huge shout-out to Nelson & Nahyla Michelangeli, they are doing some great and innovative dishes! Their culture begins with family and you immediately feel a part of something special.
