Great food! Good music
The Bluegrass Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich was incredible - easily one of the best chicken sandwiches I’ve had! The chicken was crispy and juicy, with the perfect balance of sweet heat from the hot honey. The tangy pickles and creamy, crunchy coleslaw pulled everything together beautifully. The seasoned fries were delicious too. I would absolutely order this again!
Had such a great experience at Birdies in Lexington! The service was friendly, welcoming, and attentive, and the chicken was absolutely delicious and crispy. The strips were perfectly seasoned, juicy on the inside, and wonderfully crispy on the outside. You can tell they really care about the quality of the food and the experience. Highly recommend Birdies if you’re looking for great fried chicken and excellent service! Shout out to Kevin for being so nice.

Known for their crispy, juicy chicken strips and chicken sandwich, the restaurant emphasizes quality and care in every meal. The Bluegrass Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich stands out as one of the best, featuring crispy chicken topped with sweet heat from hot honey, tangy pickles, and creamy coleslaw, all complemented by delicious seasoned fries. The chicken tenders are also highly recommended—fresh, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection. Many reviewers appreciate that everything is made fresh to order and that the staff is friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The staff often go above and beyond, explaining menu items and offering tastes, which enhances the overall experience. Birdies operates mainly as a grab-and-go spot, with a small area to eat if needed, though seating options are limited. Prices are reasonable, and the food quality is consistently praised.
