I've been a fan of DKD since it opened well over a decade ago and was very excited to try this next new concept from the owners.
I anticipated that it would be good, but HaiFry exceeded our expectations!
In a word: Wow!

I knew a DKD joint would be good, but this surpassed my expectations! The curry is as authentic as it gets and delicious. The cocktails were great and the menu was creative. Thrilled to have something new in Louisville!

Based on the reviews, HaiFry is an excellent restaurant with a fantastic atmosphere, decor, and vibe. The food and service are great, with friendly and attentive staff. The menu features Japanese street flavors, with dishes like chicken-katsu curry, tonkatsu curry, okyonomiyaki, okonomiyaki, Osaka pizza, edamame, chicken skewers, vegetable fried rice, and coffee jelly. Every single dish is yummy, and the okonomiyaki is sweet and savory. It is one of the more authentic Japanese food places that isn't too expensive. Anyone visiting or local who hasn't tried this place is missing out. It is like being back in Japan eating at favorite spots in Osaka and Kyoto. Customers cannot wait to return to try more of the selection.
