In Louisville for work, been here several weeks, and this is arguably the best dining experience I've had yet. I love cajun food, but most places go outrageous on the creole decor and under on the food. Not this place. The most Incredible Fast food of Gumbo, comes J. Gumbo's. Great foods, not crazy spicy...have no fear. Easy to order, very affordable and what a nostalgic building.I feared the extinction of this incredible family owned restaurant was upon them, so I was elated to walk into this one.

From Texas, my cousin and I stopped by to see how the food was. Some of the best Gumbo I had. The Honey Siracha was more sweet then spicy, and the basic sausage gumbo was perfect. Overall blessed food, and god bless the woman who was cooking and running it all by herself. Great food, great service, makes you feel warm in more ways then one.
