“Took my girlfriend to Shades Cafe this evening for her birthday. We both had heard very good things and after our meal we totally agree! Our meals were excellent! She had the New York Strip and I had the grilled chicken. The portions were large and the sides were delicious. She said that the steamed broccoli was the best she has ever eaten. We will be back and we’ll highly recommend to our friends and family.“

“Cute as a button restaurant! They serve breakfast and lunch. There is a nice selection of coffees and teas. Seating is indoors in a cozy space with a fireplace or outdoors on the huge wraparound porch. I had their chicken salad sandwich, and my husband had the cheeseburger special. We both loved their homemade chips! We each chose a dessert from the bakery car to-go. We were just passing through and selected this place based on their Google reviews. If the opportunity ever comes up, we'll stop here again.“

“This was our first visit to a Cracker Barrel and was a lot of fun. The general store was loaded with so much stuff. We didn't buy anything, but had a great time looking. My wife and I both had chicken for dinner which was good. Waiter was great, too.“
