My mom and I visited for the first time today and we were greeted with smiling faces, hospitality, tasty food and margaritas. We will be back and I definitely recommend 👌🏽
Stopped by El Catrin in Mount Washington and ordered one of their burritos. It was packed with flavor, made fresh, and the portion size was definitely worth the price. The staff was friendly, and everything was clean and well kept.

Based on the reviews, El Catrin Mexican Grill serves some of the best Mexican food, with dishes described as out of this world, perfectly cooked, and absolutely delicious. Specific meals mentioned include Sofia’s platter, pork chili Verde, ground beef burrito, wet burrito, fish tacos, and taco salad. The margaritas, including a peach margarita pitcher, are delicious and refreshing. Service is excellent and attentive, with customers checked on several times. The food is served quickly and hot, with mild & hot salsa served with a basket of warm chips. Prices are very reasonable. The new menu is great, and the quality is much better than local chain places. The restaurant is close to home for locals and is a drastic improvement from what was there before. Reviewers will definitely be returning and recommending this place.
