A true classic. Old fashioned ice cream shop. However, having to seek out someone to wait on you is ridiculous. Having three cars pull in after you, and being waited on before you, is ridiculous. And being told you cannot order at the window anymore is just plain...wait for it... ridiculous.
July 2023 Edit: This is still a fantastic Dairy Queen, but on a recent visit I was disappointed to see one of the elements that made the experience so enjoyable and nostalgic has disappeared. Dairy Queen has eliminated the walk-up window service that added a social aspect to the visit. I love this place! I go about every week or 2 for a treat and am never disappointed. The ice cream is always cold and delicious, service is fast, and the employees have always been friendly with me
