“We went here on my Birthday in 2022 before a river cruise. The bar area is very cozy. The drinks, especially the Bloody Mary and the Dancing Bear, are both pictured here. There's a pool table and a nice patio area. The restrooms are in the back and are acceptable but not glamorous.“
“The San Francisco dog is vegan and so good. You wouldn't think hummus and guac would be good but it is. The tots are even great. Oniony and flavorful. Service is great. The place is a hole in the wall in the middle of houses. Off the beaten path of mainstrasse. Not too far though. Just a couple blocks. I bet it is a popular local spot.“
“An LGBTQ+ mainstay in the heart of Mainstrasse! A friend invited me for a visit, and I am so glad he did! Haven’t been in 15 years. Rosie’s is fun, clean, beautifully appointed with wood features and clever signage, and mostly just full of really great folks and bartenders.“
“Went to see Kurt Adams play on 2/24/24. This place is old, small and full of character, history, and ambience. The night I was there was a mix of regulars and folks there to support Kurt and everyone was friendly, just looking to have a good time. Service was good even though the bartender was new. I've heard that the bluegrass jam every other Thursday is cool, so I hope to check that out soon.“
“THE Xavier bar. Whether it's a casual beer, wanting to go somewhere for a sports game, or a nice afternoon to eat and drink on the large deck, this dive is tried and true for generations. If you're part of the Xavier community, you know this place well. If you're not, you should wander off Wasson way in a sunny afternoon and enjoy a drink out on the two tiered deck. “This bar has cheap drinks, but it's cash only (there's an ATM at the UDF a quarter block away tho). Real fun crowd and chill bartender. Even ran into friends I hadn't seen in awhile. They have various potato chips if you want a snack. They had a good DJ when I was there and people even danced (however, I can't guarantee it's an every Sunday night thing - if so, even better).“
“pop in on a spontaneous visit after a concert ( at the worst named venue in history) after searching places open wind down before heading back across the water.. and damn was pleasantly surprised by this place! a true dive bar, just the way I like it... the bartender was amazing and welcoming to our first time in, the beer selection is nice and the bottle selection is great too!“
“This is absolutely one of my favorite bars in the city always amazing live music , with a heavy grateful Dead vibe, Wes the bartender is a hilarious short hobbitlike long haired hippie but a suave ladies man full of raw anecdotes that keep the vibe light and drinks flowing , but the crowd seems to be excepting and inclusively herbal out on the outside heated deck/smoking area there's few bars I've been to with so little ego or clicks, the place is always full of laughter and though it's a small venue to house such amazing live music with so many beautiful women dancing it definitely the funkiest (in a good way) music venue with affordable prices and live music every night and open mic on Sunday, if your looking for a new local scene you'll love these people, and most likely they'll love you too! If there's any place worth checking out it's this one, maybe I'll see you there! Check out the food truck too it's something special!“

Not a place for getting wild a place to enjoy relax an have a drink with friends the people that come here average around 50 years old . Come relax and enjoy! There is a pizza parlor next door if you get hungry and you can bring it in.“
